Program planning with VELS Curriculum planning in Health and Physical Education needs to be part of total school planning. Questions to consider: Which faculties/classroom/specialist teachers have responsibility for student learning in domains such as Interpersonal Development, Personal Learning, Communication and Thinking Processes? Is the domain of Information Communications Technology being treated a separate subject or is it being integrated through all domains? ACHPER
The standards and learning focus statements The standards are the basis for curriculum planning - essential learning - assessment - reporting The learning focus statements suggest teaching and learning activities ACHPER

Why link HPE to other domains? To educate students in a more holistic way by purposefully teaching the relationships and interactions between different domains and applying to real life situations.
