YOUTH & PRESCHOOL SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION Spring Youth Sports Programs Registration Opens: Jan. 18, 2021 Registration Closes: Jan. 30, 2021 @ 5:00pm Late Registration Period: Jan. 30 @ 5:00pm - Feb. 13, 2021 Cost: $50/residents; $80/non-residents *Late fee of $10/residents and $15/non-residents applies after registration deadline. Financial hardship discounts are available for residents and non-residents (must qualify for WCPSS free or reduced lunch or provide copy of Federally issued Medicaid card) SPORTS INFORMATION Fuquay-Varina Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources promotes sportsmanship, fair play and fun through a variety of youth sports program offerings. Children will have the opportunity to develop new skills in a safe and positive environment. All participants will need to complete a registration waiver and provide a copy of their WE NEED YOU! birth certificate. YOUTH & PRESCHOOL MLB JR HOME RUN DERBY NEW* MLB Jr. Home Run Derby Major League Baseball and Fuquay-Varina Parks and Recreation are teaming up once again to bring you the Jr. Home Run Derby (JrHRD). The Jr. Home Run Derby provides players an opportunity to participate in an exciting home run derby contest. JrHRD is a FREE national program from boys and girls 14 years of age and under. The program includes three levels of competition with top performers from the local level advance to regional level and ultimately, the National Finals prior to the Major League Baseball Home Run Derby during MLB All-Star Week.
