ATTENDANCE IS VERY IMPORTANT! We must be here and t ready to learn. Remember to send a note if your child is very sick. The fifth note must be from a doctor for an excused absence.
Student Expectations Adequate Participation MSO Students Physical Students • Login to class by 8:35 AM • Stay engaged and participate during class • Turn on and keep the camara on • Keep up with all the assignments and turn them in on time • Be in attendance in ALL your classes including Special Areas • Complete iReady requirements: 45, 60 or 75 minutes and two passed lessons per subject (Math • Stay engaged and participate during class and Reading) • Keep up with all the assignments and turn them • Reflex Math: minimum of 3 green lights (2-5th in on time grade) • Complete i-Ready requirements: 45, 60 or 75 • Reflex Math: minimum of 3 green lights (2-5th minutes and two passed lessons per subject (Math grade) and Reading) • AR-students need to read and take at least 2 AR • Reflex Math: minimum of 3 green lights (2-5th quizzes per week grade) • AR-students need to read and take at least 2 AR quizzes per week. Importance of iReady due to Learning Loss Index • i-Ready is an online program for reading and mathematics that will help your student’s teacher(s) determine your student’s needs, personalize their learning, and monitor progress throughout the school year. i-Ready allows your teacher(s) to meet your student exactly where they are and provides data to increase your student’s learning gains. • i-Ready provides students with individualized instruction to help close achievement gaps. • Proper and consistent use of i-Ready is linked to students’ performance on standardized tests such as the FSA and SAT.

I-Ready Expectations • At least 45 minutes each week Monday - Sunday. • On-Grade level - 45 minutes • One grade level below – 60 minutes • Two or more grade levels below – 75 minutes • Pass rate of 75% or better. • At least 2-3 lessons passed each week.
Resources to Promote Learning for students who are making inadequate progress • iReady is a collection of rigorous reading and mathematics instructional resources designed to address every student’s learning needs, accelerate growth, and enable all students to access grade level learning. • Reflex is an individualized and adaptive computer program that is designed to help students learn and master basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts. • MyON is an online library where students have access to thousands of books, they can choose from based on their interests. • Accelerated Reader (AR) is a computer-based program that students can use to improve reading comprehension
Extended Learning Opportunity Eligible students determined based on the following: • Overall Grade Level Deficiencies and or Individual Deficiencies • Intervention in Reading • Deficient Skills • Teacher Availability • Title III, CARES Act and ESSER
FSA AND SAT Assessments Students will take the F.S.A Reading, Writing and Math as well as the S.A.T. Testing calendar will be distributed and made available on our school’s website.
