Photos of Latvia Shipment Introducing New Publicity Chairman: Jenifer Fischer In September I will be taking over the newsletter mailings. I am very excited to come on board and be a part of the team. I have a passion for giving my time to Christ-centered organizations that show God's love through mission and ministries. I am a Speech Pathologist for Grand Island Public Schools, who contracts me to Centura Public Schools. I will be staring my 18th year there. My husband, Lynn, works for AGI in the Research and Development department. We have two sons, Owen and Garrett, who will be in 4th and 6th grade. Currently, I am a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island. We participate in a monthly Box Ministries program. Several months ago, we collected new undergarments for men, women and children to donate to Orphan Grain Train. As a leader for my son's Cub Scouts den, we had the opportunity to collect, count and box up these items. This sparked an interest in furthering our desire to get involved. This summer we came to the warehouse to sort and pack clothing. We felt the true dedication and commitment to God's work with each person we worked alongside. We left understanding that giving to others can be powerful, yet as simple as a packed cardboard box. Thank you to Erin Theisen for showing dedication and commitment for several years as the publicity chairman. I look forward to sharing how Orphan Grain Train makes a mighty impact! -Jenifer Fischer St. Paul's Lutheran Church Members Volunteer Members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Grand Island recently volunteered at the warehouse. They had groups on two different days who sorted and packed clothing after touring the facility. Both groups packed over 60 boxes in 2-3 hours. Thank you members of St. Paul’s, we hope you will volunteer again!
