RING 1: RIDDEN CLASSES – Commencing 9.30am 1. The HAMMOND FAMILY Lead Rein & First Year First Ridden Lead Rein Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cm. Riders not to have attained their 10th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be show in any suitable bridle. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. Please note that classes 1 and 2 may be run together (depending on numbers), but will be judged separately. 2. The TC FEEDS First Ridden (10 & Under) First Ridden Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cm. Riders not to have attained their 10th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be show in any suitable bridle. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. This class is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour 2021. 3. The COOPER FAMILY Pony Club / Riding Club Horse / Pony Riders 25 years old and under on 1st January in current year for Pony Club Pony. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. This class is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour 2021. 4. The MILNE FAMILY Open Ridden Mountain & Moorland Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies non-registered, part-breds and registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Rider any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. Special Award to highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and up to two Judges Awards will also be awarded. This class is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour 2021. 5. The JLM MORTGAGES Ridden Piebald / Skewbald – Not before 11.30am Open ridden Piebald / Skewbald mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Riders any age. For all types of coloured horses / ponies. Riders any age. Class may be split if entries allow. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. This class is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour 2021. 6. The SHARP FAMILY Ridden Veteran Horse / Pony (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour Veteran) Open to all horses and ponies aged 15 years and over, riders any age. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. This class is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour 2021. The GODFREY LAWS Ridden Championship – Open to all who were placed 1st / 2nd in Classes 1 -6 East Hertfordshire Hunt Pony Club Championship – Open to all who received the Judges Award in Classes 1-6 Any Pony Club members from any branch who are not placed 1st or 2nd and show determination, a positive attitude, kindness, or something the judge would like to reward will be awarded a Judges Commendation. This will entitle them to participate in the East Herts Pony Club Championship at the end of the Ridden and In Hand showing. To be eligible for this Championship, children must wear their pony club tie

Mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. This class is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour 2021. 8. The LITHGOW FAMILY In-Hand Piebald / Skewbald – Open in hand Piebald / Skewbald mare, filly or gelding. Class may be divided according to entries. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. 9. The HORSESHOE HERTS In-Hand Veteran – not before 11am. Open to all horses and ponies aged 15 years and over. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. The PRIORY CARRIAGES Best Young Handler Handlers not to have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Young handlers may be assisted. Special Awards to the highest placed East Hertfordshire Pony Club Member and the Judges Pick. If entries permit the class may be split 9 years and under and 10 – 14 years. This class is a qualifier for the Sunshine Tour 2021. The APPIN FILMS In-Hand Championship – Open to all who were placed 1st / 2nd in Classes 7 – 10 East Hertfordshire Hunt Pony Club Championship – Open to all who received the Judges Award in Classes 7-10 Any Pony Club members from any branch who are not placed 1st or 2nd and show determination, a positive attitude, kindness, or something the judge would like to reward will be awarded a Judges Commendation. SHOW JUMPING RING THREE: SMALL RING – 9.30am start The classes in this ring are to encourage true novices . Horses any size, riders any age. 11. The NICOLE PYNE PODIATRY Clear Round – Tickets available at the ringside, last tickets at 10.30am. 12. The BRITISH HORSEBOX HIRE 40cms (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour) – This is an assisted class where if needed you can have assistance or be lead. Single phase. 13. PAUL TURNER Horse & Hound – 40cms - Ride a short course and then run and jump on foot the same course with your dog. Horse / ponies will need to be held by a handler / helper. 14. The STUDIO 117 50cms (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour) – Single phase. 15. The ELLIS FAMILY 60cms (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour) – Single phase. 16. The AAB Pairs 60cms – short timed course with hand-over box where whip must be passed between riders. RING FOUR : “BIG” RING – 9.30am start 17. The JACKSON FAMILY Mini 65cms (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour) Single phase. 18. The GJW TITMUSS Novice 75cms (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour ) Single phase. 19. The J.J. BURGESS & SONS Open 85cms (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour). Single phase. 20. The CAIRNS FAMILY Open 95cms (Qualifier for Sunshine Tour). Single phase. 21. Rules and Conditions of Entry 1. The Show is run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules. A full copy of these rules can be found here – https://pcuk.org/media/im5lf1ty/showjumping-rule-book-2020-final.pdf th 2. ONLINE & POSTAL ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON THE 28 JUNE 2021. ENTRIES ON THE DAY WILL BE ACCEPTED @£12 PER CLASS st th 3. Sunshine Tour 2021 (16th to 19th September 2021) – To qualify you must achieve 1 -6 and qualification does not go down the line. Collect your qualification card from the secretary. Please refer to Sunshine Tour eligibility rules for more information.. 4. In each showing class the Judge will award up to two “Judges Commendation Awards”. The winners of these awards will not have st nd been placed 1 or 2 in the class, but will have shown determination, a positive attitude, kindness, or something the judge would like to reward. The winners of these Awards will be eligible for the East Hertfordshire Hunt Pony Club Championship which will be mixture of in-hand and ridden competitors. 5. All classes will close 15 mins after the start of each class, unless it is already full. 6. Classes will be limited in size and may be split should entries allow. 7. No entries from stallions will be accepted at this Show 8. Entry to the show authorises our representatives to take photographs/videos/other images for promotional purposes, which may be published after the event. 9. No entry fee will be refunded after the closing date unless a veterinary or medical certificate is presented. Any refunds will be less a £3 administration fee. 10. In case of cancellation due to bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances £3 will be kept from each competitor for administration costs. 11. Spectators and competitors attend entirely at their own risk. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone by whom in law they are responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners or riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 12. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. 13. Competitors will be responsible for the control of their animals at all times and will be liable for any veterinary/farriery expenses incurred on the day. 14. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and should have their own third party cover. The East Hertfordshire Hunt Branch of the Pony Club and the organisers are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you. 15. The organisers reserve the right to vary the order and composition according to circumstance if necessary. 16. Abuse of the horse, bad language, or behaviour will not be tolerated and will risk elimination without refund. 17. Objections to the secretary within 30 minutes of any incident with a £20 deposit, non-refundable if over-ruled. 18. All dogs to be on short leads at all times. All mess should be picked up and disposed of appropriately. 19. We respectfully ask you not to muck your lorries or trailers out onto our field. 20.
