Coronavirus
What you need to know:

                         1
How is Coronavirus
(COVID-19) transmitted?
Transmission happens from person-to-person, when one of
them is sick, by close contact (about two meters) or through:

    Contaminated Touching
     objects or Sneeze or shaking
      surfaces hands

      Droplets of Exchange
                            Cough of mucosal
        saliva
                                                     fluid

How long does it take for symptoms
to appear?
The incubation period – the time between the day of contact
with the sick person and the beginning of symptoms – is, on
average, 5 days for COVID-19. In rare cases, the incubation
period has reached 14 days. The first 3 to 5 days of symptoms
beginning are the most transmissible days. Therefore,
suspected cases should remain quarantined for a period of 14
days, or longer if symptoms persist.

2
What are the main symptoms?
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is similar to the flu. It usually is a mild
or moderate disease, but some cases can be serious. The
most common symptoms are:
 Fever
 Cough
 Stuffy nose
 Sore throat
 Body aches
 Difficulty breathing

Is there already treatment against
Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
There is no no cure, vaccine, or virus-specific
medication. Please consult a medical professional for
advice on treating the illness.

                                                                3
How to prevent being infected:
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or sanitize with
hand sanitizer for 20 seconds.

When coughing or sneezing, cover your nose and
mouth with a tissue or your arm, not your hands.

If you are sick, avoid physical contact with other
people and stay at home until you get better.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with
your unwashed hands. When touching, always
      wash your hands as indicated.

Do not share personal items such as cutlery, towels,
       plates and glasses.

Avoid greeting people with hugs, kisses, and
      handshakes.

Avoid crowds and keep rooms ventilated.

Avoid contact with elderly if you experience any of
      the symptoms of COVID-19.

Make use of hand sanitizer constantly on your
hands, and wipe down equipment/objects that are
used daily, such as keyboard, cell phone, etc, with
      70% alcohol or another disinfectant.

when the disease affects the elderly or people with chronic
diseases. Information and washing hands with soap and
water or hand sanitizer are the best preventions.
