June 2021 Monday, June 7 Departure from Grand Rapids > Arrive Québec City The day of departure has arrived. Early this morning, we will meet at the Grand Rapids Gerald R. Ford Airport to check in for our flights to Québec City. Welcome to Canada! Upon arrival, we’ll meet our tour manager and board the waiting motorcoach. Following time for an independent lunch, we will take an orientation tour of Québec City by bus and check in at our hotel for a four-night stay. This evening’s welcome dinner will be at the hotel or a nearby restaurant. (D) Tuesday, June 8 Québec City After breakfast, we will enjoy a morning lecture by Dr. Maag. Then we’ll take a guided sightseeing tour that includes charming Old Québec, the picturesque Place-Royale—a plaza dominated by Notre-Dame-des-Victoires, North America’s oldest stone church that dates from 1688—and the Petit Chaplain district. Following our tour, the remainder of the day and evening are free to explore Québec City.
