#GREATER THINGS The Cal Pac Administration Don Ott Commisioner Don Ott, became the conference's first full-time commissioner in 2017, but served the league in a part-time role since 2007. Ott has worked in intercollegiate athletics for over 30 years, starting with his days as a student assistant at Washington State University, and including stops with the Pacific-10 Conference, the Athletes In Action world touring team, Oral Roberts University, and a 16-year stint as the associate commissioner of the West Coast Conference of NCAA DI. Ott holds a Master's degree from Trinity Theological Seminary, is finalizing a doctorate in communications, and served as a pastor for 16 years. He and his wife Lea have two grown daughters, one a New York-based actress earning her graduate degree at Southern Methodist , and the other with the front office staff of the Milwaukee Brewers.
