TEMPLE UNIVERSITY 2020–2021 TRANSFER STUDENT APPLICATION Undergraduate Admissions, Conwell Hall, Suite 103, 1801 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19122-6096 APPLYING TO TEMPLE UNIVERSITY You can apply to Temple using the Common Application or Temple’s application (admissions.temple.edu/apply). The application fee is $55. Online applications are processed more quickly, but if you choose to use this paper application, be sure to carefully read the information on page 2. APPLICATION DEADLINES • Temple accepts students based on Rolling Admissions. • Fall semester: June 1; Feb. 1 for Nursing (Nursing has limited space available and is a four-year program, even for transfer students) and Health Information Management • Spring semester: Nov. 1 REMINDERS Enclose a check or money order for $55 made payable to Temple University; we cannot accept cash. If you are mailing your application, only ofcial transcripts, which are those mailed directly or sent through an electronic transcript service to the Undergraduate Admissions Ofce from the records ofce at a school, a college or an agency, are accepted. Sign and date your application. DO NOT COMPLETE THIS APPLICATION IF… • you previously attended Temple as a degree candidate (matriculated student). Instead, complete a Request to Re-enroll form, available online at admissions.temple.edu/re-enroll. • you have already earned a bachelor’s degree and wish to take courses as a nonmatriculated student or obtain certifcation from one of our schools or colleges. Instead, complete a Special Student Application, available from the dean’s ofce of the college in which you wish to enroll or from the Ofce of Continuing Studies (215-204-2550). • you are an international student. If you are not a U.S. citizen and will require a nonimmigrant visa, you must complete the International Student Application, available online at admissions.temple.edu/international. TRANSFER APPLICANTS You are a transfer applicant if you have attempted 15 or more credits at a regionally accredited college or university after graduating from high school or earning a GED. You must request all high schools and colleges you’ve attended to send ofcial copies of your transcripts to the Undergraduate Admissions Ofce. Return your completed application and fee directly to the Undergraduate Admissions Ofce. DECISION PROCESS Once we have received all the required documentation—a signed application, the $55 fee, high school and college transcripts, and SAT/ACT/GED/TOEFL/PTE scores (if applicable)—we can make an admissions decision. We may initially review a completed application and request additional information before making a fnal decision. Students are considered on a Rolling Admissions basis; decisions begin in October for spring applications and in January for fall applications. Applicants are notifed within four to six weeks of submitting a completed application, although we hold some applications for a second review.
