The facility will be cleared after each session for sanitization and there will be NO RE-ENTRY to the facility once you exit. Trainers will be provided by Ochsner of Sports Medicine Trainers Schools must bring their own tape Teams will be required to bring individual water bottles that do not conflict with LHSAA Partner Powerade. Coolers will not be provided due to COVID-19. Other Official Game Ball – Baden Perfection VX5EC-209 (Top-Grade, Full Grain, Presorted Leather) 2021 National Federation Volleyball Playing and LHSAA Rules will be followed.
STATE TOURNAMENT SITE INFORMATION PAGE 3 NO OUTSIDE WATER BOTTLES THAT CONFLICT WITH LHSAA PARTNER POWERADE - NO EXCEPTIONS! CATEGORY DATE/INFORMATION Buses must drop off teams at the Cajundome at the Northwest (Yellow) corner Each team will be allowed 24 personnel to enter. The 24 includes coaches, players in legal uniform, managers, trainers, and statisticians. Team Dropoff & Entry Additional team personnel must purchase a ticket and enter through The roster bylaw will be strictly Main Gate. ZERO EXCEPTIONS!! (LHSAA Bylaw 24.10.3) enforced. THURSDAY ONLY - Team and individual pictures will be taken upon arrival your team’s arrival. RomaPics requests that all teams arrive in game uniform 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to match. FRIDAY & SATURDAY - Teams may enter the facility 1 hour prior to match. Teams will be assigned a locker room upon arrival. All personal items Team Locker Rooms must be removed prior to match time each day. Participating Team Seating Teams must sit in Sections 106 & 107. All players and team personnel associated with the team must be seated. Team Bench Personnel No one will be allowed to stand behind the benches. Quarterfinal & Semifinal Rounds: (Higher Seed is HOME Team) Home: West bench Visitor: East bench Home/Visitor Benches Championship: (Higher Seed is HOME Team) Home: West bench Visitor: East bench Teams will be allowed 20 minutes of “on the court” warm-ups for both Pre-Game Warm-Up the semi-final and final games. LHSAA will provide all practice and game balls. Quarter and Semi-Finals: Teams are asked to exit the court and facility through designated area. Post-Game Finals: Both schools are required to remain on the court, participate in the awards ceremony until its completion and cooperate and attend, if requested by media, post-game interviews. Failure to do so shall result in the offending school being fine. (LHSAA Bylaw 5.11.11)
STATE TOURNAMENT SITE INFORMATION CONTINUED PAGE 4 CATEGORY DATE/INFORMATION All-Academic recipients and their Administrators have been contacted by the All-Academic Recipients LHSAA office. If you have any questions, please contract Renee’ Ballard at rballard@lhsaa.org Schools shall be responsible for including but not limited to the following: 1) LHSAA Bylaws 3.1.1(1-4) & 3.1.3 Participating School 2) Informing all their athletes, students, fans, etc. of any/all LHSAA Supervision & and/or Cajundome prohibited items, policies, etc. Responsibilities 3) Any and all actions and/or behavior of all their athletes, students and/or fans etc. Failure to do so shall result in the offending school being fine. (LHSAA Bylaw 5.11.11) Decorations and signs are permissible; however, they must: - Be in good taste and illustrate good sportsmanship. Signs and Decorations - Be on paper or cardboard and may have shiny surface. - Be hung using blue tape on any and all surfaces. No duct tape or scotch tape. - - Schools shall be responsible for informing their boosters, fans and/or support groups. LHSAA and Cajundome prohibited items can be found in the Official LHSAA Online Handbook. Prohibited Items & Policies All unauthorized items will be taken and can be picked up after the completion for contest. All Support Group Members MUST enter the Cajundome at the Northwest (Yellow) corner in uniform and accompanied with one Faculty Sponsor to enter free of charge. Any/all support group members NOT with their group upon entering will be required to pay full ticket price. ZERO EXCEPTIONS!! Support Groups Bands Must: - Sit in a special section behind team area designated by the LHSAA. - Bands cannot play during any live ball on any of the 3 courts. - Must contain the normal instruments that are consistent with a regular band. - Horns and drums alone are not allowed.
MEDIA/SCHOOL YEARBOOK PAGE 5 (Please read the LHSAA Media Policy found on the LHSAA Website) CATEGORY INFORMATION - The purpose of school media credentials is to give high school students an opportunity to capture an important memory from their high school experience and build their resume by helping illustrate their school media publications. Beginning with the 2020-21 schoolyear, school media credentials will only be given to applied and approved students/faculty of that particular school. School identification is required to be granted a school media credential. Contracted photographers/videographers will not be approved for school media credentials. - School media credential candidates must complete the same electronic credential application as the professional media, found on the LHSAA website under “Affiliations” > “Media Resources.” Please see the deadlines for each sport on the Media & corresponding application(s). School Yearbook - Maximum one (1) school media credential granted, per school and per championship, to: One (1) student OR one (1) adult faculty advisor. - All media credentials, school and professional, are non-transferrable; only individuals on the pre-approved list may possess them. Credential privileges will be revoked if it is found that a credential has been given to an unauthorized person. - Photos shall be limited to only the school's team members while in competition and/or presentation of awards. Photos taken during an event may not be sold or used in any capacity outside of the purpose(s) of their school’s student publication(s). The LHSAA has an exclusive photography contract with RomaPics. - Fee per game/match - $150 - Stations broadcasting will be responsible for charge to originating point. Radio/Internet Broadcasting - All Rounds will broadcast live by and through the NFHS Network. & Game Video (www.nfhsnetwork.com). - Live streaming is strictly prohibited during entire tournament as they are available on the NFHS Network.

Please supply credit card information at the hotel of your choice. - When calling the hotel, please tell them that you are with the LHSAA to receive the discounted rate. - All cancellations should be made directly with the hotel.
