Dorothy Jermyn’s son, Hilton, wishes to convey on
behalf of his brother, partner and their family, his
heartfelt thanks to all at St James for their friendship
and support over the years for Dorothy and Jack and
particularly over the time of Jack’s short illness.
He wishes to express his special thanks to Rev Chris
and Rev Michael for their ministry and guidance
over the time of Jack’s Funeral Service. Their thanks
also to those whose provided the afternoon tea. They

Parish Life
Pray for the Vicar, Wardens and vestry team as they lead the parish
forward.
Pray for the Parish Staff, Ministry Leaders and their teams.
Pray for the process of finding a Youth Pastor for our parish
Pray for the Burnside-Harewood Afterschool Club starting in September
Pray for the Vestry Retreat on 5th September
Pray for the Nexus English Club as it starts in September
Pray for the Families Together Sunday on 13th September
Pray for Gold Card Club (Eldercare) as we continue to serve the older
adults in our community
Continue to pray that we will keep in step with the Holy Spirit as we
move into mission within our community.
Continue to pray for our parish as we fulfil our Annual Plan for 2020 to
see our core values being strengthened.
Wider Community
Pray for our mission partners – Liz and Nick & Tess. Pray for Jean Hollis
as she continues to keep mission in the forefront of our parish life.
Pray for our Bishop, Peter Carrell, as he leads us to be a vibrant diocese.
Pray that God will renew and revive His church so that we can be salt
and light in the world.
Pray for the ministry of the 24-7 team at Burnside High School and the
work of the Burnside Community Transformation Trust (BCTT)
