CRIME STATISTICS New Brighton Crime Activity was Down in November 2020 The New Brighton community experienced 8 crimes in November 2020, in comparison to 12 crimes the previous month, and 14 crimes in Novem- ber one year ago. New Brighton experiences an average of 8.8 crimes per month. Assessment Appeal Process Continues Until March 12 Property assessment notices were mailed out to property and business owners in January. These assessments provide the property value that your property taxes will be based on. If you have concerns about your assessment, be sure to make use of the Customer Review Period. The BEFORE AFTER Customer Review Period will continue until March 10, 2021. Changes to your assessment will only be considered if an inquiry is received during this period.
