It is with great pleasure to inform you that we have opened our doors at our new shelter. Dreams do come true!! Our Executive Director Jennifer Campbell had a dream for a bigger shelter and it’s now a reality. Our new shelter will be opening up more possibilities than ever!! It is more spacious and allows us to help more Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault survivors in our community. Our new facility will be able to house 9 families at a time while offering more confidential trauma based counseling services. We would like to express our gratitude to all within the community who made this possible. Our new address is 212 West 11th. St. Berwick PA 18603. Don’t worry, our hotline number (570)759-0298 and email beyondviolence@verizon.net remains the same. A Safe Place to Play Special Thank you to Jacob Kubricki from Troop 300!! We are so thankful for all the hard work and dedication Jacob put on renovating our playground and basketball hoop. Could you imagine your childhood without the memories of playing outside on the playground? Just remember pumping your legs as hard as you could on the swings in an effort to “fly” a little higher! No child should miss these opportunities and thanks to Jacob’s generous help, they will no longer have to. This eagle scout project will be around for years to come to help provide a safe place for children to play. Way to go Jacob!!
