         LABOR DAY RODEO

MEETEETSE RODEO GOT CHANGE PROGRAM
The Meeteetse Rodeo committee is asking the community for
assistance for the Labor Day Rodeo. We have regular sponsor
ships as noted on the sponsorship form and letter enclosed.
We would also like to give EVERYONE that reads this bulle-
tin an opportunity to gather your change or loose bills and be
a sponsor from $5 to $99, and have your name in the rodeo
program. So clean out those pants pockets, car and couch
seats and lets make this 109th Labor Day Rodeo one for the
records! Yee-Haw!
Please drop off any donations at the Meeteetse Inn or the Visitor Center.

MEETEETSE LIBRARY STARTS NEW
                  PROGRAMS!
Meeteetse Library will be CLOSED for Labor Day – Saturday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 6. Get your
books and movies early for the weekend, and have a Great Holiday!
Many Thanks to all who came out for Taste of Meeteetse and stopped by the Library Table for a Taste
of “Crow Stew”! We had a lot of fun with it! (And then we found out we won a prize – even more fun!)
And remember, if you need to make your own pot of Crow Stew, or something equally unique, we’re
sure to have just the book for you!
Starting after Labor Day the Library will have an Elementary Kids Activity every Monday after school.
We’ll do crafts, board games, Legos and a movie every now and then.
Wednesday afternoons after Labor Day will be Wii Wednesday for Middle School and High School.
Toddler Storytime continues on Thursdays at 10:00 am. Fun stories, songs and activities for those not
in school yet.
The Library plans to have a Float in the Labor Day parade. I am looking for 3-4 kids who would like to
ride on our float. Qualifications are: Can be here Labor Day at 9:00 am, Have Parent/Guardian Permis-
sion, and, most importantly, Can Smile, Wave and Throw Candy! Contact Miss Linda at the Library if in-
terested.
I also need to borrow a trailer for our float (mine has a “too bad to get to town” bad tire). If you’ve got one
we could turn into a parade float for a few hours on Labor Day let me know – Please & Thank You! Linda
The next Coffee Talk will be Tuesday, September 14 at 10:00 am. The Meeteetse School admin-
istration team will be our guests. Come and hear how school is shaping up this year – the challenges
and the opportunities!
