Congratulations to the Graduates! Marcela Arango Joined the STRANG Design team in 2015, after earning her Master's degree from the University of South Florida School of Architecture. She began her career as an apprentice architect working on a few high-end single-family residences with STRANG Design. They were challenging, detailed projects with heavy coordination among different trades, and she once handed the challenges, she excelled . Marcela Arango, Marcella became a Project Manager at STRANG in 2017. Assoc. AIA Eduardo Calero is an Architectural Project Manager/Consultant who holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Florida College of Design, Construction and Planning. Eduardo Calero Melissa Carter is a Design Associate at Clemens Bruns Schaub Architect & Associates. She also serves as the AIA Treasure Coast Associate Director. She graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a Master's Degree in Architecture. As the AIA Treasure Coast Associate Director, her main goal has been to promote the architecture community's accomplishments in local media. As the Florida Caribbean Associate Director, she learned about various legal efforts to minimize the role of the architect. It is her belief that these efforts would be a disservice to the public due to their responsibility to protect the health, safety, Melissa Carter, and welfare of all. Assoc. AIA
Congratulations to the Graduates! Daniella Covate is an associate at HKS Architects, Inc. and holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of South Florida. She is a registered Architect in the State of Florida and has six years of experience contributing to design excellence in the architectural community. Committed to improving the built environment through innovative and responsive building design solutions, Daniella brings a range of experience in the design and execution of healthcare facilities and mixed-use projects to her work. She strives to achieve the intersection of beauty and performance, understanding the value it provides to her clients and the communities the projects serve. Daniella Covate, AIA Monique Davis holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Miami and a Master of Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. Monique is the Founding Principal at MoCherie Designs, LLC. With over 13 years of experience working in the architecture and interior design industry, and after gaining valuable experience working with some of the best architects and designers in the Washington, DC area, as well as throughout South Florida, she felt ready to start her own design firm. Monique is married to her forever love, Cedrick, and has a 1-year-old Monique Davis daughter, Nevaeh, who is the sunshine of her life." Ebehi Ijewere holds a Master's Degree in Architecture from Florida International University and is an architectural designer based in Atlanta, GA. With over 6 years of experience in the design and construction industry, she has worked with architecture firms in Lagos, Miami and Atlanta, gaining valuable experience in the profession in each city. A self-motivated designer, she believes that good design contributes to the well-being of a community. A vast knowledge of various architectural programs helps her effectively design and produce drawings for commercial, healthcare, Ebehi Ijewere, educational, aviation, civic and retail projects. Ebehi is interested in Assoc. AIA working with clients and communities that challenge her knowledge of architecture.

Jameson MacNichol is a Project Architect with Winstanley Architects and Planners, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University In addition to his work as an architect, Jameson is very active within the AIA community in Florida, Virginia and Washington, D.C., serving on multiple AIA Committees including the Young Architects Forum (YAF), Emerging Architects Committee (EAC), and Schools Connection Committee. Meeting and working with other young architects has given him new Jameson Macnichol, and valuable architecture. perspectives on advocacy and the profession of AIA Esther Monterrey is a project manager and licensed architect at MC Harry Associates. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from Florida International University. She is currently working on several projects for Miami Dade Aviation Department and Miami Dade College, and has experience working on projects in the recreational and agricultural sectors as well. Her dedication to finding solutions, learning, collaborating with others, and striving to be as effective and efficient in her profession is what sets her apart as an Architect and leader Esther Monterrey Adrian Mora is a licensed architect with OBMI Architects. He holds a Masters in Architecture from Clemson University. Adrian is a results-driven individual, who has a passion for creating unique spaces and experiences within the built environment, while focusing on balancing client relations with design realization strategies. With over a decade in the business, he has an extensive range of experience in the production and management of hospitality, large Adrian Mora multi-family, office, commercial, and mixed-use projects across the United States and Caribbean, as well as Europe and the Middle East.
Congratulations to the Graduates! Tess Paulose is a designer /manager at Stantec’s Miami office, and believes in the continued pursuit of finding design solutions to better the built environment. Aside from working on multiple high-end residential projects within the past 6 years at Stantec, Tess is one of the editors for the all- office monthly newsletter, which recognizes and acknowledges staff’s achievements. She is also an active member of the office Community Engagement group, which promotes various volunteer opportunities within the community. When Tess is not drafting out details or storyboards, she is actively sketching and participates in Tess Paulose, the annual “Inktober” 31-day ink challenge. Assoc. AIA Adriana Perez-Leyva holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Florida and a Masters of Architecture at Georgia Institute of Technology. She began her professional career with HKS Architects in Miami, FL, where she worked with the hospitality studio for two years. Adriana relocated to Naples, Florida after her husband's company closed down, prompting him to accept a new opportunity on the west coast of the peninsula. Fortunately, Adriana found an exciting opportunity with Herscoe Hajjar Architects, a well-established firm in Naples specializing in custom residences. Throughout all these life changes, Adriana is grateful to have participated in the 2020- Adriana Perez-Levya, 2021 Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program, which Assoc. AIA has kept her motivated and inspired! Heloisa Castelo Perrone Received her Bachelors Degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, FAAP, and her post Graduate Degree from Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo, in Architecture and the City. She currently works at TSAO Design Group as a Project Manager. Heloisa is an experienced professional licensed in Brazil and currently pursuing Architect licensure through NCARB Certification here in the United States. She has a solid background in high-end residential projects, working on all project phases. Client centric, extremely organized and detail oriented, Heloisa builds positive Heloisa Castelo Perrone relationships with co-workers and clients through professionalism, Int'l Assoc. AIA creativity and effective problem solving.
Congratulations to the Graduates! Luis Sanchez received his Master's Degree in Architecture from Florida International University and is currently a Project Manager and Associate at Shulman + Associates, an award-winning multidisciplinary firm focusing on architecture, interior design, urban design and graphic design. Peruvian born and raised, Luis moved to Miami in 2002 to attend University. His work experience includes participating in and leading teams in a variety of projects including residential, retail, educational and hospitality. He works in all project phases including space planning, design, construction documentation and Luis D. Sanchez, construction administration. Assoc. AIA Mayroon Yacoub is an architect with MC+G Studio and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Miami with certification in Historic Preservation. Born and raised in Coral Gables of Middle Eastern origin, she was inspired by historic and Mediterranean architecture around her.
