Make Waves @ Your Library A building-wide Summer Reading Program that begins Monday, June 7, and extends through Saturday, August 7! ** ALL AGES ** ALL AGES ** ALL AGES ** ALL AGES ** ALL AGES ** ALL AGES ** ALL AGES ** Spend some time at the beach with our kick-off party featuring Dave Rudolf’s Beach Party Concert For All Ages Monday, June 7 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Come to our outdoor beach party concert on the west lawn to celebrate the start of our summer reading programs for children, teens, and adults! Dave performs the songs you all know and love, and even some of his own. This interactive show will get you into the spirit of summer with bubble machines, Hula-hooping, limboing, and much more. No registration required but space is limited if rain moves us indoors. Adult We’re proud to present our twelfth annual Summer Reading Program. This year’s program has an aquatic theme, which is shared by Youth Services and Outreach Services. Stop by the Adult Services Desk to learn how you can read your way to earning tickets for a prize drawing. Winners will be announced on Saturday, August 7. T-shirts will be given to all who finish the program. Youth Services Reading couldn’t be more fun this summer! When you register for the Club, you’ll receive a game card. Then, from Monday through Friday, June 7 - 11 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon, 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., or 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., come to the library to choose what activities you’d like to add to your card and to play some beach party games. Parents must remain with their children. Can’t make one of these dates? Staff will be on hand during our regular business hours to explain how to complete your card. Reach your goal and receive a way-cool prize. The Summer Reading Club is for children from 3 months of age through those entering Grade 5. It is open to all Tinley Park cardholders and children who attend a Tinley Park school. Visit the library for exact details and make waves at your library! Young Adult Surf’s Up for teens this summer at the library! Come in to register and get your game card. You can earn prizes, raffle tickets, and even our awesome library t-shirt! This program is for teens entering Grades 6-12 and is open to all Tinley Park cardholders and students who attend a Tinley Park school. On Board the Bookmobile Kids ages 2 through just completed 8th grade are invited to come on board the Bookmobile. Our summer reading club runs from Monday, June 7 through Thursday, August 5. Don’t miss this chance to win fun prizes!
