Hiking the Himalayas _________________________ Thurs., September 26 Many people have contemplated hiking the trails of the @7:00pm Himalayas and climbing Mount Everest, the trip of a lifetime. But how does one prepare for such an adventure? Ron Bagliere shares his experience and explains what goes into planning for such a trip from what to buy, shots to get, and how to get your body in shape for high altitude hiking. Bring your notebooks and questions for this roundtable presentation. About the Presenter: Ron Bagliere has spent a considerable amount of time in the Himala- yas, hiking to Everest Base Camp and several of the Sherpa villages in Sagarmatha.
