LOVE DOES NOT LAST FOREVER (ROMEOS AND JULIETS) AN SCENIC EXPERIMENT OF FRITSCH COMPANY DIRECTED BY ANDRÉS LIMA Inclusive dance and theatre performance based on the classic of Shakespeare.
Love does not last forever (Romeos and Juliets) is an scenic experiment by Fritsch Company direc- ted by Andrés Lima. An absolute premiere at the fifth edition of the Festival “Una Mirada Diferen- te” at the Spanish National Drama Center. What is the theater for you? And death? What is fear? And hate? What is love for you? The six- teen interpreters with and without diversity of Fritsch Company (the professional company of Psico Ballet Maite León Foundation; a non- governmental organization dedicated to inclusi- ve scenic arts since 1986), explain from dance, physical and gestural theater what love means to them. Love from diversity; from youth; from the festive or the tragic; from imagination or reality. Universal references such as Romeo and Juliet, Píramo and Tisbe or the love experiences of the performers themselves for a multidisciplinary show that brings together documentary video with representation on stage through contem- porary dance and new formulas of staging under the warm, innovative and fun look of Lima.
ROMEO Thanks, my moon, so shine with my light, Juliet, I'm going to find you Wait! Ah, torment! Your beautiful cloth of blood stained? Come to me, cruel lions! Come, crush, give me death! Come crying, devastate! And you see, sword To hurt Romeo's chest And now I die, I die, I die, I die.
