2017 WAS A YEAR OF BRILLIANT PROGRESS As we look back at 2017, we can see it was another exceptional year for Norham High School as we continue to go from strength to strength. Our consistent and continual improvement is a testament to the ongoing dedication of the school’s senior leadership team, staff, governors, David Baldwin David W Bavaird parents, partners and supporters, and this review Executive Headteacher Chair of Governors celebrates just some of our successes across 2017. We’ve seen improvements in achievement, attendance and attitude right across the board and this makes us exceptionally proud. We couldn’t achieve this continued success without the hard work, commitment and focus of our staff, pupils and their families, and we’d like to thank everyone who has been part of making 2017 such a great year.

2017 WAS A FANTASTIC YEAR FOR LEARNING AND SKILLS Our GCSE achievements showed continued overall improvement across a wide range of subjects. OUR YEAR AHEAD We are exceptionally proud of our success and achievements in 2017, but we are not complacent. We have set ourselves even more ambitious goals for 2018 and beyond, and we are on track to achieve those targets. Our focus will be on continuing to stretch and challenge each and every pupil, raising their aspirations, boosting their self-belief and supporting them as individuals, so they can really fulfil their potential and gain the skills and qualifications they need to succeed. We’ll also continue to work closely with North Tyneside Council and Churchill Community College to ensure that standards of teaching and support remain high right across the school. Our future continues to look bright and we look forward to even more success across 2018.
