Church News Bidding Farewell Summer at fumc As you know, Roy is retiring and TJ is moving. TJ’s last Sunday will be June 11, 2017. We will have our normal services that day and there will be a reception in Pastor–Led Combined the Cook Foyer at 9:50 a.m. and a second one at noon. Adult Sunday School Sundays at 9:40, July 9–30 Roy’s last Sunday will be June 18, 2017. There will be one service that day at In Nicholson Chapel 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. There will be a reception prior to the service at 10 a.m. in the Cook Foyer. Wednesday Night Dinner Every Wednesday at 5 p.m. Please come and express to Roy and TJ your appreciation for them sharing In the Fellowship Hall God’s love through their ministries at FUMC. We also ask that you consider a love offering for each of them made payable to FUMC. Please make separate Mom to Mom payments noting “Roy or TJ Love Offering” on the check. We also ask that you July 12–August 9 write a note to them about your favorite memory with them or providing some Wednesdays from 4–5 p.m. other kind words and bring to the receptions. Children and Youth News registration deadline SummerSlam!, June 18–21, is a district wide pre-teen mission open to kids entering the 4th–6th grade in the fall.
