UPDATE ON MAIN STREET PROJECT
Lisbon, IA 52253 The asphalt plant is projected to open in April and Lisbon is the first
one on the list to finish paving Main Street. Weather will be the

Do something better with your junk!
The Sons of the American Legion Squad 480 needs your scrap
metal. Our scrap drive program is a big win for community groups and
the environment. Local non-profit organizations raise money by
collecting scrap metal, and the environment wins when metal is kept in
use and out of the landfill. Call Ed Shultz for pick-up 319-631-5508.
The money collected from this scrap metal is donated back to SE Linn
and other organizations within Lisbon.
Fireman’s 24th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dance
The Lisbon Fire Department will be hosting their 24th Annual
St. Patrick’s Day Dance on Saturday, March 16th 8PM - Midnight.
It will be held at Regal Crown in Lisbon. Music will be
provided by the band “Twang Gang Band.”

Parent Cafe
YPN’s Parent Cafe will be meeting at SELCC on Tuesdays,
March 19 - May 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All parents who have a
child under 18 years old are welcome. Free childcare and a free
meal are provided. Come join other parents to discuss parent-

Summer Reading Kickoff in May
Summer may seem far away but we are already planning our Game Night
2019 Summer Reading Program for children. The theme is "A Join us for Game Nights on March 1 and April 5 from 6:30 – 9:30

Golf Cart Permits
Reminder that all golf cart permits expire on June 30th. Please
