We anticipate this to be a four week project. Important Health and Safety Information: Access to school from Westminster Street will be closed for the duration of the construction. Please use either the entrance via English Park or come around to Sheppard Place. Child Safety We want to focus on child safety in today’s newsletter. As in past communications one of the recommendations we like to share is setting up a unique safety code word that your child knows well. Parents can use this if they need to send another adult to pick up their child for some reason. Children are told that they should never go with an adult, either a stranger or someone they know, unless that person knows the safety code word. Please talk to your children about what to do if they are ever in a situation as awful as this. Incorrect Use of Mobility Parks We have experienced an increase in the demand for mobility car parks by permit holders. Mobility parks are located in the English Park carpark on Sheppard Place. These must strictly be used by permit holders only. If you see someone misusing these parks please do not confront them, simply use the app and report them: https://ccsdisabilityaction.org.nz/mobility-parking/access-aware/ Playground Equipment for a Good Home We have a collection of climbing frames, ladders and bars available for a good home within the community. Available for a donation $ (towards new equipment). If you are interested in this offer, it is a first in, first served basis. You must be able to remove the equipment from the site by 8am Monday 3rd August. Please contact the office on 355 9132. Whāia te iti kahurangi. ki te tūohu koe, me he maunga teitei.
