Junior Giants Day AT&T Park August 12th 2015 This year our Junior Giants league has been invited to attend Junior Giants Day at AT&T Park on Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 for the 12:45pm game against the Houston Astros. Junior Giants Day will include a pre-game parade on the field and a recognition ceremony for this year’s Willie Mac Award Recipients. It is our goal that as many players are able to attend as possible. Please review the information in this packet and plan to attend. Two Options to Participate Participate in our 2-day league field trip: This no-cost option will include transportation to and from Eureka, overnight lodging at our sister Boys & Girls Club in Petaluma, and breakfast, lunch and dinner on Wednesday. Attend on your own with your family: Pick up your tickets in Eureka in August the week before the game and meet us at AT&T Park for the pre-game parade. Alternatively, if you wish to purchase all of your tickets on your own, you may do so, and meet us at the Park for pre-game festivities. Ticket Distribution Thanks to Major League Baseball, and our local sponsors CDH Painting and the McLean Foundation, we’re being provided tickets to the game, HOWEVER, these tickets are extremely limited. In order to send as many players as possible to the game, tickets will be distributed as follows: 1 ticket will be provided for every player in the 8-10 and 11-13 divisions and 1 adult ticket will be provided to each family attending to allow a parent access to the game with their children. In order to be eligible for tickets, families must: Submit the paperwork in this packet by the deadline of July 31st, 2015 Complete the Parent survey by August 2nd (online or in-person at the field—Instruction announced) Unfortunately, we will not know until the last minute if we have any extra tickets.
