Participants will spend the weekend helping families in the 12:00pm Youth Lunch Out Fellini’s Appalachian region of western North Carolina. In years past, our mission teams have rebuilt decks, entry stairs, and firewood hutches as well as paint exterior walls in need of Wednesday, July 21, 2021 a new coat. 5:00pm Midweek Communion Service Grand Hall 6:30pm Chancel Choir Rehearsal Grand Hall We will arrive on Friday, October 8, then depart either Sunday evening after dinner or 7:00pm Modern Band Rehearsal Fellowship Hall Monday morning after a Devotional Service following breakfast. Accommodations have been reserved at the HRLC for up to 30 volunteers. A personal donation per volunteer of Thursday, July 22, 2021 $200 for two nights or $225 for three nights will also cover meals and lodging, plus 10:00am Covenant Bible Study Rm 104 construction materials/supplies. Students ages 12 and older may participate with a parent. 7:00pm Troop 77 and Troop 177 Meeting Scout Hall Volunteer forms including releases from OGUMC and HRLC must be completed for each volunteer. All participants must be fully vaccinated before the trip.
