Bring it in and we can help you with the basics—set the brightness, download apps, browse the internet, take photos and more. Get To Know Your Device Wednesday 16 January 11:00am - 12:00pm Did you get a camera, phone, tablet or any other new technology for Christmas? Don’t know where to start? Bring it along and we can guide you in the right direction. Getting Photos Off Your Device Thursday 16 January 11:00am - 12:00pm Have you taken lots of photos over the summer and don’t know how to get them off your device? Bring the device in, along with all of you cords, and we can help you transfer them to a USB or to email.
Computing Basics A Tuesday 5 & 12 February 10:30am - 12:30pm This two week course is for those who consider themselves beginners to computing. Learn the basics of computers. How to turn them on, login and do simple searches of the internet. Start Selling On Gumtree Tuesday 19 February 10:30am - 12:00pm If you have lots of stuff around the house why not make some money by selling it on Gumtree. We can help you set up an account and show you the basics of selling. Bring along your email address. How to make a website with Wordpress Wednesday 20 February 10:00am - 12:00pm Learn how to create a website using Wordpress. Session will cover how to set up an account, choosing a theme and give you the basics to create and maintain a website.
Introduction To Computing @ Glenorchy Library Thursday 7 February 2019 - Thursday 11 April 2019 9:30am - 2:30pm (Thursdays only) New to computing? This free ten-week course will get you started. Learn how to control your mouse, use your keyboard, save and print documents, email and more. This course is delivered face to face to help you learn in a hands-on and supportive environment. Learn to 3D design - Make a Bookmark Wednesday 13 February 10:30am - 12:00pm Learn how to create 3D objects. Create a bookmark using Tinkercad and print it out on our 3D printer. Introduction to Virtual Reality Tuesday 19 February 1:00pm - 2:00pm Use our HTC Vive to escape into virtual worlds. Travel the globe, dive under the water, ride a rollercoaster, solve puzzles or paint on a 3 dimensional canvas.

New Norfolk Rock & Rhyme Every third Wednesday of the Month Starting February Rock & Rhyme is a fun 30 minute program for babies, young toddlers and their carers - with simple songs, action rhymes and short stories. Make talking, reading, and singing with your child a daily routine; it helps little brains grow and it’s fun! Aimed at children from birth to three. Computer Class Coming Soon Wednesday 20 February Coming in February a computer class on a subject chosen by you. Check back in February for more details.
