A big thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who are
helping make Bancoora Nippers a great and fun event.

The Committee thanks our Nippers coordinator Craig

to make Nippers successful and to all those parents and
friends who have volunteered their time for the benefit of
their kids and for all Nippers and Mozzies participants and
their families.

Interim Patrol Hours Ladder
at 31 December 2019
for Season 2019/20
A few members have asked about who is doing lots of
hours of patrol this season.

Thanks to our illustrious Club Captain Rowan Jobling, Rowan
has done the numbers for the period ended 31 December
2019. It looks like we will have some members doing over
100 hours of patrol again this season if they keep up this
pace. We also thank those members who travel back to
Bancoora to do their patrol at Bancoora Beach.

Well done to all for the Patrol hours volunteered by
our members to keep our Bancoora/Breamlea
and Geelong communities safe.

Banny Bulletin: Hi Ted, thanks for joining us!

Ted Page-Walker: You’re very welcome.

BB: Can you tell us a little bit about the under 18 leadership
camp?

TPW: The camp was in early December at Anglehook Camp
in Aireys Inlet. I met young leaders from a diverse range of
clubs around Victoria who all gathered to learn new skills and
develop a young leader’s network.

BB: How did you hear about the camp?

TPW: Club Vice President Christine Pope told me about it and
suggested I should apply to attend. Ted with his December LSV Leadership Camp cohort.

LSV Audit of Bancoora
On 12 January the club was paid an impromptu visit by one
of LSV’s assessors to do a spot-check on the effectiveness
of Bancoora’s Patrol members.

LSV performs these assessments to provide feedback to
Victorian clubs and highlight areas where clubs can improve
their patrol performance. The Committee would like to
thank the professionalism and knowledge of patrol captains
Michael Peel and Andrew Hunt of Patrol 2 on their leadership
throughout the assessment.

More details will be provided to members once the final
report is received from LSV however some preliminary
