Our last one was the weekend before Covid hit in 2020! The University of Scouting Committee welcomes you once again to our biggest training event of the year! For the first time ever for University of Scouting, we are moving entirely to online for both registration and payment. The event fee continues to remain $10; however, please take note there are fees for registering late. See further details in this packet. Training Policy is in effective for all Adult Leaders in Pack and Troop level. The University offers a face to face training as a great opportunity over online training. Face to face credit will be given in lieu of online. As always, Every Scout Deserves a Trained Leader! Our council is in dire need for more Scouters for the following: Trainers, Trainers, Trainers! Merit Badge Counselors; STEM Counselors/Mentors. I cannot stress enough about Trainers. Same goes for Merit Badge Counselors and STEM Counselors/Mentors. We always never have enough. If you have any questions regarding the above information or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. My email address is jrbeiter@rochester.rr.com. All other matters, see Point of Contact below. So, please consider joining us at the event. We are looking forward to seeing you there! Yours in Scouting, John Beiter Council Training Chair University of Scouting Chair
General Information Each period is 50 minutes long with a 10-minute break in between except for courses with multiple periods. See Schedule inside this packet.
