Qu ck Start Gu de 1 Insert the batter es nto the Remote Control Remove the back cover to reveal the battery compartment. Insert two size AAA batteries. Make sure the (+) and (-) signs match (observe correct polarity). Do not mix old and new batteries. Replace only with same or equivalent type. Place the cover back on. A message will be displayed on the screen when the batteries are low and must be replaced. Note that when the batteries are low, the performance of the remote control may be impaired. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like. About Selecting Broadcast Type D g tal Aerial: If th s broadcast search option is turned on, the TV will search for digital terrestrial broadcasts after other initial settings are completed. D g tal Cable: If th s broadcast search option is turned on, the TV will search for digital cable broadcasts after other initial settings are completed. A message will be displayed before starting to search asking if you want to perform cable network search. If you select Yes and press OK you can select Network or set values such as Frequency, Network ID and Search Step on the next screen. If you select No and press OK you can set Start Frequency, Stop Frequency and Search Step on the next screen. When finished, highlight Next and press OK button to continue. Note: Searching duration will change depending on the selected Search Step. Satellite: If Satellite broadcast search option is turned on, the TV will search for digital satellite broadcasts after other initial settings are completed. Before satellite search is performed some settings should be made. Standard or Tivusat Operator menu will be displayed first. If the installation type is Operator - Tivusat will be made a research for the channels on the Hot Bird 13 East satellite according to Tivusat order. You can select Antenna Type as Direct, Single Satellite Cable or DiSEqC switch by using d rect onal buttons. Analogue: If th s broadcast search option is turned on, the TV will search for analogue broadcasts after other initial settings are completed. After all the available stations are stored, Channels menu will be displayed. 7 Connect your TV to the Internet Connect v ty feature allows you to connect your TV to the home network w red or w relessly. You can use th s network ng system to connect to nternet or to access photo, v deo and aud o f les that are stored on a Med a server connected to the network and play/d splay them on the TV. However, f your TV does not have W reless USB dongle or doesn’t support nternal WLAN feature, you should use w red connect on type. Add your TV to your home network by connect ng t to the modem/router v a an LAN cable (not suppl ed) as llustrated. To use your TV with your wireless network, you may need a WLAN USB dongle. You should connect t to one of the USB inputs on the TV. If your TV supports nternal WLAN feature you won't need a w reless LAN adaptor. Press the Menu button to open the ma n TV menu.
