SEC OVERVIEW
THE MISSION OF THE SOUTHEASTERN CONSORTIUM FOR DERMATOLOGY
(SEC) IS TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION AND COLLABORATION OF
DERMATOLOGISTS AND DERMATOLOGY RESIDENTS, FELLOWS, STUDENTS
AND MID-LEVEL PROVIDERS IN THE SOUTHEASTERN UNITED STATES. THE
ANNUAL MEETING ROTATES EACH YEAR AMONG THE 10 PARTICIPATING
DERMATOLOGY PROGRAMS WITH THE EDUCATIONAL FOCUS BEING A
THOROUGH UPDATE IN ONE OR TWO AREASOF CLINICAL DERMATOLOGY
SELECTED FROM A CORE CURRICULUM. THE 2020 MEETINGWILL BE
HOSTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DERMATOLOGY AT EMORY UNIVERSITY.

ABOUT THE 44TH ANNUAL SEC FOR DERMATOLOGY MEETING

The 2021 meeting will be virtual ! Hosted by Emory University,
the dates of the virtual conference are November 12-14, 2021.
The areas of focus this year will be Itch and Diversity in
Dermatology.

 WHO SHOULD EXHIBIT

 The exhibit program is designed to provide practicing
 dermatologists, residents, fellows, medical students, and mid-level
 providers with first-hand information about products and services
 specific to dermatology, itch (defined broadly to include many
 disease states resulting in pruritus), and diversity in dermatology.
 The exhibit program will also serve as a forum for updating
 physicians’ knowledge of current technological advances in the
 field of dermatology. The SEC for Dermatology seeks vendors and
 companies with ethical and truthful advertising and may accept or
 reject any application to exhibit at its discretion.
