MARCH 2021 INDIAN STUDENT BRINGS DIVERSE BACKGROUND TO ECE CAREER Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education) student Hitender Jayaseelan is thriving in his role as a student teacher, where his marketing and engineering experience give him a professional edge. For Indian student Hiten Jayaseelan, a career change from digital marketing to early childhood teaching has brought joy and fulfillment. “I am absolutely loving the Field Practice component of my studies, as I get to combine my passion for teaching with my digital marketing and engineering experience. “As well as contributing to the growth and development of children every day, I extend my support to centre management regarding their Facebook ads, Google Analytics, website administration and other digital marketing or IT related services.” For over 39 years NZTC has been offering their programs, which combine hands-on experience in the ECE field with online learning.
