Good Shepherd Catholic Parish AUGUST 15, 2021 Mass of Remembrance FOR FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST A CHILD Wednesday • September 15, 2021 • 7:00 p.m. • Church Good Shepherd Parish invites all families who have experienced the loss of MUSIC AT a child in any way to join us for this special Mass. The Mass is the most powerful form of healing prayer. Please take this opportunity to remember GOOD SHEPHERD your children, to name them if you have not, and to celebrate the fulfillment of God’s plan of having each human family incorporated into God’s spiritual family. By naming the child, you are witnessing to the dignity Children’s Choir of their life, no matter how brief. Those who have not been given a name Beginning September 2021, children can be listed with your last name, such as “Baby Jones.” The names will from grades 2 through 8 will have be brought to the altar to be remembered by our parish family. Names of the opportunity to serve the parish children who have been submitted in previous years will be included in this while learning the joy of choral year’s remembrance. We welcome you to submit your child's name for music as part of Good Shepherd remembrance to the parish office. You may also call Geri Andregic at Parish Children’s Choir. 717.761.4789 or email your child’s name to andregicg@gmail.com. All are welcome to attend the Mass. The children will sing for the 9:30 am Mass on the third Sunday of each month from September through May, as well as Christmas Eve, First Communion, and our Parish May Crowning. We are excited to bring our choir back as an integral part of our Sunday worship. The choir will sing at the 9:30 am Mass (except for the third Sunday), the Christmas Midnight Mass, Holy Week, and all other important liturgical functions.
