Imitating Reality - Moulage Makeup Knowing Your Materials
Imitating Reality - Moulage Makeup Creating Fresh Bruising • Stipple red cream makeup around • Use small amount of purple or dark red cream makeup and area where bruise will be stipple area to make your outer edges • Smudge it and rub it in leaving • Blend out carefully using your makeup sponge middle open

Imitating Reality - Makeup for Moulage Adding Effects: Easy Simulated Blood Recipe Ingredients: Directions: • 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring • Add flour and red food coloring to the mixing bowl. • 1 tiny drop blue food coloring • Spritz your tablespoon with cooking spray and use • 1 tiny drop green food coloring (optional) it to add corn syrup to the mix. • 1 scant teaspoon flour, sifted • Use the toothpick to add the tiniest drop of blue • 1 tablespoon corn syrup food coloring. You can always add more. Add the • 1 small shallow glass or plastic bowl same amount of green food coloring if you need it • 1 toothpick to be more purple. Stir with a small whisk or spoon • Cooking spray until completely blended. • Water (optional) • Adjust the recipe using additional food coloring, • Chocolate sauce (optional) chocolate sauce, water or laundry detergent if • Liquid laundry soap (optional) desired.

Imitating Reality - Moulage Makeup Learning More: Suggested Tips and Tricks • Start with something relatively simple. • When removing SFX makeup, you can make use of warm towels or soap and water go a long way. • Invest in the right products and tools. • You don’t have to spent a lot of money to get great FX. • Practice in advance. • It is always advised to do a patch test before using heavy-duty products like latex and silicone on the skin or on manikins. • Make sure that you do not use silicone or latex in the hair, and make use of vaseline to protect the surrounding hair. • Remember to have fun!
