How to Train Your Chungus ML Model Training Data Input Guidelines 1. Please use English (or convert using Google Translate and get feedback). 2. Medium length sentences. All of the possible details can't be captured at once. 3. Multiple entries are better than too much detail or a convoluted phrase. 4. Describe the speci cs of the Chungus in the training image such as accessories, size relative to background, color, hair, clothes, etc. 5. Describe the background and what is in it, such as sky, grass, buildings, water, the moon, other clearly visible objects. If there is no background you may use words like plain, empty, or omit description. 6. Describe the context such as what the Chungus is made of, if it is on the cover of a game, in a cartoon, etc. 7. Describe the the style of the image or art. Is it illustrated or sketched? Is it drawn in pencil? pen? crayon? Does it look like a 3D model? Is it photorealistic? Is it abstract or otherwise stylized? 8. Try to cover these in di erent descriptions. Feel free to check other submissions to see what has been covered, but please avoid copy pasta. This won't work for model training. Copyright© 2021 Chungus Coin BSC (Big Chungus Coin). NFT Deep Learning Model Overview The (beta) NFT generation pipeline is a sequence of stages that can be imagined as a team of people that can only do speci c things well. The Translator The Translator takes a natural language input (in this case, we're using English) and converts this to a request for The Artist. The Translator will try to provide the most relevant information from the input description to The Artist. As language is ambiguous, especially for a simple model like this, there may be multiple valid conversions or it may be hard to get the point across. Some languages have a certain je ne sais quoi that isn't perfectly captured in others. Same case here. If a picture is worth a 1000 words, a sentence can only capture a fraction of a picture! Because of this The Translator will extrapolate from what is in the sentence -- the best sentences indicate what is important to show! Copyright© 2021 Chungus Coin BSC (Big Chungus Coin). The Artist You can think of The Artist as being a genius painter who can reproduce any style it has ever seen and combine existing styles in new ways. However, The Artist is also flawed. Our inputs are in English and assume that The Artist is like Michelangelo and speaks 15th century Italian. The Artist is totally dependent on The Translator to: • know what to paint, • colors (warm yellow light, • what style to paint (hand drawn purple haze, etc.). illustration? impressionist?) • • what to include in painting, Furthermore, The Translator sort of also does its best of guessing what Italian of the day would have sounded like, but it doesn't do this perfectly. For this to work well, input data with the Chungus needs to be described in varying levels of detail, with words that focus on and highlight di erent aspects of the scene as interpreted by human eyes. Think of Picasso and Rembrandt, Giggs and Grimes, Bob Dylan and Bobby Shmurda ... Each has a particular style and sees the world di erently. The Artist is capable of generating art beyond what we simple meat husks can understand and, thus, appreciate and enjoy. And while the output is certainly novel, we want to make sure The Artist is painting for the entertainment of its Chungus Patrons. Copyright© 2021 Chungus Coin BSC (Big Chungus Coin). The Critic The Critic solves this problem by guiding The Artist toward acceptable outputs. It takes draft art and advises The Artist on whether the generated image is good or if it should take the paper, rip it into little pieces, light it on re, put the ashes into a dumpster, light the dumpster on re, then bury that dumpster in middle of the ocean. The Artist tries again and again until The Critic says the Draft is good enough for human review in the Chungus Community as a Candidate NFT image. ‼ Using your own words in the description will lead to a better model that is able to key on the precise aspects you noticed in the training images.
