2022-2023 HEAT Game Notes Harrisburg Heat (1-2) Harrisburg Heat v Florida Tropics Friday, Jan. 6, 2023 MASL Game #35 PA Farm Show Complex Equine Arena UPCOMING GAMES 01/08/23 Florida Tropics RP Funding Center 01/14/23 Tacoma Stars Accesso ShoWare Center 01/15/23 Tacoma Stars accesso ShoWare Center Quick Hits The Heat return their top three scorers from last year in Dominic Francis, Malcolm Harris and David Mellor. Heat Captain and Midfielder Danny DiPrima also returns to the Heat. In addition, the Heat has an experienced defensive core in Elton de Oliveira, Matt Braem, Stephen Basso, Brad Kerstetter and Robbie Williamson. Francis and de Oliveira are former league all stars and Basso is a Florida Tropics (4-3) former MASL Defender of the Year. Andrew Hoxie was a key off season free agent acquisition. Howie won three MASL championships while playing for the Baltimore Blast. Hoxie finished last season with Utica City FC. Goalkeeper William Banahene signed with the Milwaukee Wave in the off season. The Heat return Darian McCauley in the nets along with acquiring Chase Vosvick in free agency and Grant Glorioso through the MASL combine. Vosvick played professionally outdoors with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the USL. Vosvick was the four time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year while playing at Loyola University in Maryland. Glorioso played college soccer at Gardner-Webb University and Robert Morris University. The Heat continue to wait for visa approvals for Daniel Villela, Yuri Farkas, James Vaughan and Ricardo John. The Heat have been hit with illnesses and injuries prior to this game. Several players are unable to play.

McCauley attended and played college soccer at Millersville University. He was All-PSAC First team, Atlantic Regional All-American, and won the Career Achievement Award at Millersville. He is playing his rookie season for the Harrisburg Heat. Panton attended and played college soccer at St. Mary's College. He was a 3-time All-Region and All-League selection. He scored 27 goals in his 3-year college career. Roshawn is currently a youth club coach at Touch Kings. He is the 2013 Head Coach and 2008 Assistant Coach. Andrew Hoxie #8 • Birthdate: October 8, 1986 • Height: 6’5" • Weight: 204 lbs • Hometown: Enid, OK • Nickname: “Big Smooth” Andrew Hoxie is from Enid, Oklahoma. He is playing his first season for the Harrisburg Heat. He has played eleven years of indoor soccer in the MASL. Last season, Andrew played 15 games. He scored 2 goals, had 7 assists, while adding 3 blocked shots. He started last season playing for the Florida Tropics but got traded during the year to Utica City FC. He is playing his second season in the MASL for the Harrisburg Heat. In his rookie season, Raphael played 15 games for the Heat. He scored 7 goals, had 3 assists, while adding 5 blocked shots. Lately, Raphael Araujo has been an important and constant player for the United States of America Futsal National Team, finishing as finalists in the Concacaf WC qualifying tournament in Guatemala, and competing in the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 in Lithuania. He is playing his seventh season in the MASL for the Harrisburg Heat. Last season, David played in 22 games for the Heat. He scored 13 goals, had 1 assist, while adding 13 blocked shots. In his MASL career, David Mellor has played in 80 games. He has scored 22 goals, 10 assists and has 31 blocked shots. David grew up playing for the Manchester United Academy and most recently with Barrow and Oldham Athletic. He played over 150 league games in the English League 1 and beat Liverpool in the 3rd round of the FA cup. Robert Williamson #15 • Birthdate: August 28, 1997 • Height: 6’2” • Weight: 185 lbs • Hometown: Fishkill, NY • Position: Defender • Nickname: “Robbie” Robert Williamson is from Fishkill, New York.. He is playing his second season in the MASL for the Harrisburg Heat. In his rookie season for the Harrisburg Heat, Robert played in all 24 games for the Heat. He is playing his sixth year in the MASL for the Harrisburg Heat. Last season, Dom played in all 24 games for the Heat. He scored 19 goals, had 15 assists, while adding 13 blocked shots. In his career, Dom has played 104 games. He has scored 86 goals, has 32 assists and 54 blocked shots. For the 2019/2020 season, he made the MASL All-Star team. During the 2021 season, Dom was on loan to the Kansas City Comets. During the regular season, he played 5 games. Dom scored 4 goals and added 2 assists. He is playing his rookie season in the MASL for the Harrisburg Heat. Becher attended and played college soccer at the University of Maryland - Baltimore County (UMBC). In his youth career, Jackson played for LDC United which turned into Penn FC youth. For high school, he won 2 state championships at Lower Dauphin also was an All-American. Jackson is currently a youth club coach for the 2011 and 2005 boys teams at Penn FC. Matthew Brummet #23 • Birthdate: June 12, 1999 • Height: 5’7” • Weight: 145 lbs • Hometown: Baltimore, MD • Position: Midfielder/Forward • Nickname: “Brum” Matt Brummet is from Baltimore, Maryland. He is playing his rookie season in the MASL for the Harrisburg Heat. Brummet attended and played college soccer at George Washington University. Matt Brummet is currently a youth club coach for the Baltimore Bays. Elton de Oliveira #26 • Birthdate: August 25, 1985 • Height: 6’0” • Weight: 183 lbs • Hometown: Curitiba, Brazil • Position: Defender • Nickname: “The Rocket Man” Elton de Oliveira is from Curitiba, Brazil. He is playing his sixth year in the MASL and third for the Harrisburg Heat. Last season, Elton played in 7 games for the Heat before ending his season with an injury. He is playing his ninth year of indoor soccer and his second season for the Harrisburg Heat. Last season, Jeremy played 6 games before having a season ending injury. He is entering his eighth year in the MASL. The Harrisburg Heat acquired Ty Hall back this mid-season. He was traded from the Tacoma Stars to the Heat. Last season, Ty played 12 games total. He scored 4 goals, had 1 assist, while adding 5 blocked shots. During his indoor career, Ty has played for the Florida Tropics, Tacoma Stars, Ontario Fury, and the Pennsylvania Roar.
