BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE SCHOOL’S OUT CLUB (SOC) Our program focuses on youth development because we believe your child deserves the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. We provide a safe nurturing environment for children to learn, grow and develop social skills. The Y is guided by four core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. We will work with you everyday to help your children have fun while realizing their potential. Our curriculum is based on the 40 Developmental Assets. We perform background checks, require current CPR certification, provide annual training on child abuse prevention and blood borne pathogens with all of our Y staff. They also attend regular trainings throughout the year. Core activity areas: Arts and Humanities, Literacy, Service Learning, Health and Wellness, Homework Support, and Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM).
