On the attached sheet, record some of the books you read over the summer. Reading IXL- Log into Clever. Click on IXL. Complete at least 1-2 IXL Reading assignments each week. Log into Raz Kids. Choose 1 fiction and 1 nonfiction book to read. Write down 3 things you learned from each story! Reading: iReady - complete My Path lessons (only available until July 31st) Try to log-in 2 or 3 times a week. Use the attached graphic organizers to keep your writing skills sharp! Write about your summer adventures! ☺ Math IXL- Log into Clever. Click on IXL. Complete at least 1-2 IXL Math assignments each week. Choice Activities (Complete at least 2): Activity & Directions Completed Join a virtual Summer Reading Program or start a Zoom book club with your friends. Join getepic.com for a free account to read! GET OUTSIDE AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE! Be creative and make up some fun outside activities to do! Read a book as a family! Some ideas are Wonder, Harry Potter series, Charlotte’s Web, etc. There are many lists online of ideas for family books! These are definitely not for the kids to read alone! As a family, choose a few days during the summer to choose a new recipe, make a grocery list, and prepare the meal for your family. (Obviously, you need your parents for this one!) Make it fun family time! Optional Activities: Activity & Directions Completed Choose a kindness project this summer! Ex: positive messages with sidewalk chalk, plant some flowers, make cards for family members or health care workers.
