SUSTAINABILITY
FLIK’s food philosoph y aligns seam lessly with sustainable
food purchasing practices. W e have com m itted to the
following purchasin g standards:

All our m ilk and yogurt are from cows that have been
certified to be free of the artificial growth horm ones
rBGH/rBST.

All poultry is raised without the non-thera p e utic use of
hum an antibiotics. This m eans that m edically im portant
hum an antibiotics are not given to birds on a routine basis,
decreasing the danger of antibiotic resistance.

Our seafood purchasing follows the guidelin es set by the
Monterey Bay Aquarium ’s Seafood W atch Program and only
considers seafood that is rated ‘Best Choice' or ‘Good
Alternative’ sustainabl e.

Because of our com m itm ent to the hum ane care of farm
anim als, we offer only Hum ane Farm Anim al Care (HFAC)
certified cage -free shell eggs nationwi d e.

Coffee grown and harveste d with responsibl e production
