ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES The Parks and Recreation Department does not provide medical insurance coverage for injuries suffered while participating in Department sponsored activities and events. Each participant must assume responsibility for all medical bills incurred from personal injury while participating in a Department sponsored activity or event. PROGRAM AND FACILITY USAGE REFUND POLICY 1. Unconditional refunds will be allowed 2 days prior to the start of a program and 30 days prior to a facility usage date. Twenty percent of program or usage fees will be assessed as an administrative charge. The administrative charge will not exceed $10.00 for refunds meeting these criteria. Registrations paid by credit card will be credited back to the credit card less any applicable administrative fee. 2. Illness and/or injury refunds will be allowed after the start and before completion of 50 percent of a program or less than 30 days prior to a facility usage date. Fifty percent of the program or facility rental fees will be assessed as an administrative charge for refunds meeting these criteria. 3. Refunds will not be allowed after completion of 50 percent of a program nor on or after a facility reservation date. 4. Full refunds will be given for Department canceled programs or facility usage dates. Example: 1. Insufficient registration for a particular swim lesson session. 2. Facility closed due to repair or maintenance. 5. Prorated credit toward future registrations will be given for Department canceled program dates. WILL MY CLASS BE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER?
