About Buffalo Run
Buffalo Run Golf Course in Commerce City, CO, is an 18-hole championship
course with lush rolling greens, expansive fairways and picturesque views of the
Rocky Mountains. This award-winning course has been recognized locally and
nationally as one of the region’s premier golf facilities.
Since 1996, Buffalo Run has offered visitors a total golf experience, from a full-
service golf shop to a challenging golf course, dining and more.
Buffalo Run is a beautiful setting for corporate tournaments and private outings.
Tournament packages may be customized to provide your guests with competitive

Tournament Options & Suggestions
Tournament Formats:
•S
cramble: All players tee off, the team selects the best shot and all players
proceed from that position; continue the process until a team member holes
out for a team score. Good for 2-4 player teams.
• Best Ball: All players play their own ball all the way through the hole. Team score
is determined by the lowest individual score by a player on the team. Available to
be handicapped. Good for 2-4 player teams.
• Modified Shamble: All players tee off, the team selects the best shot, and all
players proceed individually from that position and play their own ball all the way
through the hole. Scoring could be determined by best ball, total team score or
best two scores total. Available to be handicapped. Good for 2-4 player teams.
•H
ot Ball Scramble: Only one player tees off per hole, all players then play a
scramble from that position, continue until a team member holes out for one
team score. Good for 2-4 player teams.
Scoring Options:
•S
troke Play: Players or team record a score per hole for a 9, 18 or 36 hole
total. Players compete against the entire field or their respective flight. Gross
and net scoring available.
•M
atch Play: Players or teams compete against another individual player or
team. Match results in a win/lose or draw. Typically compete in a match play
tree bracket. Gross and net formats available. Single player or two person
teams.
•S
tableford Scoring: Players or teams earn points based on their hole-by-hole
score relative to par.
Typical scoring: Par = 1 pt, Birdie = 3 pts, Eagle = 5 pts, Bogie = -1 pt, Double
Bogie and higher = -3 pts
•P
eoria Scoring: Tournament committee selects six holes (two par 3s, 4s and
5s from each nine) to establish the team/players day handicap. The total of the
six holes is multiplied by three; par is subtracted from that total; multiply the
result by 80% for the team/player’s handicap. Subtract the handicap from the
team/player’s gross score for a Net Peoria Score to be ranked among the field
or flight.

Golf Tournament and Private Outing Guidelines
•A signed agreement and deposit (of $5/player) based on estimated player count
will guarantee the reservation and must be paid at least 30 days prior to the
event. The reservation is not guaranteed until the deposit and signed contract are
received. The deposit is nonrefundable and will be applied to the final event cost.
Full payment of all fees is due by check, cash or credit card the day of the event.
Applicable tax and service fees will be included in the final event cost.
• Final event player counts for F&B and golf services are due 8 days in advance
of the event.
• Tee time starts are available any day of the week, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays
after 12:00 p.m. Shotgun starts with less than 60 players may be charged a
surcharge.
• Buffalo Run reserves the right to add public play to the golf course for any event
with less than 120 players.
• Tournament Information Sheet and pairings list must be delivered 3 days prior to
the day of event. Late information, additions or deletions are not guaranteed.
• Colorado law prohibits alcohol from being brought onto the premises where
alcohol is sold. This law is strictly enforced. The primary contact on the agreement
will be responsible for insuring that all players understand and adhere to the
policy.
• Pace of Play Guideline: All players are expected to play golf at a reasonable pace.
Groups that fall behind and are deemed “Out of Position” may be asked by a
course representative to expedite their play. Gross violations may result in removal
from the golf course.
• Inclement Weather Guideline: If the golf course is deemed to be closed by Buffalo
Run management, the event may be eligible for rain checks or rescheduled for a
later date. An event is deemed to be complete if all groups play at least 9 holes. If
the event is cancelled after play has begun, food and beverage arrangements will
not be refunded or cancelled for weather reasons.
• Appropriate golf attire is required by all players. Tee shirts, tank tops, sports
jerseys or excessively worn clothing and metal spike shoes are prohibited.
• All players and guests are required to comply with Buffalo Run’s Code of Conduct
at all times on the premises of Buffalo Run Golf Course.
• The Tournament/Outing Contact will be responsible for any damage or losses to
the course, clubhouse, or any Buffalo Run property caused by attendees of the
Tournament/Outing.
• The Tournament/Outing Contact releases Buffalo Run and the City of Commerce
City from any damage to or loss of any equipment, merchandise, or other property
left on the premises prior to, during, or after the event.
• Buffalo Run and the City of Commerce City will not be in breach of this agreement
or otherwise liable by reason of delay in performance or nonperformance of
any of the obligations under this agreement to the extent that any such delay
or nonperformance is due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control,
including without limitation acts of God, terrorist activities, insurrection, explosion,
flood, forceful wind, fire or accident, weather conditions, war or threat of war
declared or undeclared, sabotage, civil disturbance, labor strikes, requisition,
sickness, quarantine, government intervention, and unforeseen circumstances.

Service Charge and Taxes
• An 18% service charge on all food and beverages will be added to the final
invoice.
• A tax rate of 9.25% will be added to all food and beverage purchase (if appli-
cable).
Guarantees and Menu Selection
The final guest count and menu selections are due no later than 8 days prior to
the event. This will be considered the guaranteed attendance and the minimum
number of guests for the event. Increases to the final guest count may be
accepted until 72 hours prior to the event; additional fees will be payable at the
conclusion of the event.
Discounts
•A
10% discount will be applied to all food and beverage purchases, excluding
alcohol, when booked in conjunction with a golf tournament.

Bison Grill Buffet Selections
The lunch and dinner buffets are accompanied by unlimited iced tea, lemonade
and water. All prices are per person.
The Fast Break - $9
Bison Grill’s famous hand held breakfast burritos with choice of bacon, sausage or
vegetarian. Served with bottled water and coffee.
Continental Breakfast - $10
Fresh fruit, assorted pastries and bagels with cream cheese. Served with an
assortment of juices and coffee.
The Breakfast Buffet - $16
Croissants and assorted pastries, fresh fruit, bacon and sausage, red skinned
potatoes with peppers and onions, French toast, homemade green chili and
scrambled eggs. Served with coffee and juices.
The Fabulous Patio BBQ - $17
A build your own bar that includes your choice of two meats. Top it off with
assorted cheeses, lettuce, tomato, red onion, sweet relish, and sauerkraut.
Complete your plate with house made sides, including potato chips, coleslaw and
country style BBQ beans. Enjoy a warm caramel-filled churro to finish your meal.

South Philly Buffet - $20
Philly fanatics will love this buffet of seasoned beef and chicken served on fresh
club and kaiser rolls from Colorado’s Blue Point Bakery. Build your sandwich with
sautéed onions and peppers, lettuce and tomato. Top it off with choices of Swiss,
American, Provolone and Cheese Whiz along with our own special “Philly sauce”.
Accompanied with homemade potato chips, coleslaw and brownies.
Southwestern Fiesta - $21
Beef tacos and chicken fajitas headline the fiesta. It comes served up with Spanish
rice, seasoned black beans, and chili-lime sweet corn. The buffet is dressed up
with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, grated cheese, sour cream, salsa and our
own pork green chili. Save room for fluffy cinnamon dusted sopapillas.

We start this trip thru Italy with our traditional meat lasagna, fettuccini in creamy
basil pesto, spicy Italian sausage with flame roasted onions and peppers and a
vegetable medley. Match that with a classic Caesar salad, garlic cheese bread and
tiramisu and you will forget you’re in Colorado.
The Chuck Wagon BBQ - $23
A real Southern BBQ that includes your choice of three meats. Served with
country style BBQ beans, coleslaw, sweet corn and corn bread muffins. A
homemade fruit cobbler dusted with powdered sugar is the perfect end of your
day.

The reunion is anchored by a chef attended double carving station featuring garlic

Prime Rib Dinner - $31
Slow smoked prime rib carved to order, served with au jus and horseradish cream
