Dear Member, We are delighted to present the Golf Calendar for the 2020-21 golf season at Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club. Your committees have worked hard to create a fun, competitive schedule that is sure to keep all levels of play entertained throughout the season. We trust you will find it to be an enjoyable tournament season with the highlighted events as we continue through these unprecedented times. The Men’s Golf Association schedule is built around the most popular Frank Cardi Memorial Member-Member and accompanied by The Lockie Cup, Jonathan’s and Watson Cup. The Women’s Golf Association combines a competitive nature along with camaraderie in its featured events such as the Captain’s Cup, Harkness Cup and Buddy Tournament. The Ladies’ 9 Hole Association is your source for the introduction to tournament golf with its fun formats including, but certainly not limited to, Tee for All, Greens Goddess, Three Queen’s and King and Hope in Bloom. Finally, you can guarantee an exciting Sunday with the lineup of mixed ‘J’ents & ‘L’adies and Twilight events. Engaging all JL Members, and getting everyone involved in our golf activities, is the key objective of our operation. If there is something the staff can do to assist with this, we welcome you to come see us. This summer, our golf courses are primed and ready for another great season of play. As you know, Old Trail Project’s final touches will begin this season with the Hanse Golf Course Design team coming in to build what is expected to be something South Florida has never seen. How exciting to have it happen in our own backyard for us to watch and reap the benefits of a brand new golf course, practice facility and short game area. With this, there will be some concern in availability of tee times while we are under construction. During this time, we ask you to be patient, respectful of other Members and anticipate some restrictions to ensure equal opportunity for all Members to access the two available courses. We look forward to an enjoyable and successful season ahead and wish you all a safe and healthy return to Jupiter! Bill Warner Joe Downey Golf Chairman Director of Golf 6

There will be a winner in each flight and the team that accumulates the most points will be declared the overall winner and achieve the honor of having their names added to the Captain’s Cup board. In the event that two teams tie within a flight, the winner will be determined by their original head-to-head match. If the head-to- head match ended in a tie, the winner will be determined by points from their head-to-head matches against the second place team in their flight. If still not resolved, a coin toss will determine the winner. In the event that two teams tie for overall points, the winner will be determined by a shoot-out immediately following play on day two. If one day of the 2-day tournament is rained out, the second day will be played on Thursday, January 21st.
