techniques taken from the runways at New York Fashion Week. Participants will learn tips
and tricks from backstage and be inspired by current trends. Take an in-depth look at styling
techniques to develop your creative skill and create advanced styling looks using sets, hair
pieces and irons.
ADVANCED ST YLING
Advanced styling is composed of mastering in-depth techniques of up-styling. The class will
focus on braiding (multiple-strand, flat and round braids, fishtail, waterfall braids, cornrowing
and braiding for texture), backcombing, curling, smoothing and spinning. Inspiration will derive
from current trend looks from the runway with an emphasis on salon-friendly application. The
learner will leave class with an overall proficiency to create many relevant styles
