P.O.Box. 1948 General Meeting Dates Dubbo. 2830 June 28 July 26 August 30 Sept 27 Oct 25 Nov 29 Prez's Waffle Well, the last twelve months has been somewhat weird. Covid-19 really put the stoppers on any event that had any size of a crowd gathering. The restrictions, at the time. prevented Club Meeting and Club outings, so basically there was no news to report on. Hopefully, being stuck at home has given the opportunity to finish some of those projects that have been put on hold. The lack of Shows being on gave Nathan & myself the opportunity to do some work on our Kenworth K125. Of course a quick tidy up grew into a mini resto! Now that restrictions have eased, various events and shows are starting to commence again. The local Dubbo Cars & Coffee, held on 2 May 2021, was a great success with heaps of cars being on display. This was the first Cars & Coffee to be held for months, due to Convid-19. A number of pre 1930 vehicle were also on display as a pre 1930 vehicle rally was also being held over the same weekend. Trangie Truck & Tractor Show, on 21st August 2021, is approaching fast and should be a BIG Show this year, as there has been limited Shows to attend. This is one Show you should not miss. On 18-19 September 2021, the Clarendon Classic along with the Kenworth Klassic are to be held at Clarendon Showground (Sydney). The Kenworth Klassic is expecting to be huge with it being 50 years of Kenworth in Australia. This show is definitely well worth going too! 2

Dubbo Cars & Coffee On the Sunday 2nd May 2021, Dubbo Cars & Coffee resumed after a long break due to Covid 19 restrictions, It seemed that everyone with an old car turned up for coffee at Dubbo's Victoria Park. It was great to see such a large variety of cars on display. A few pre 1930's cars turned up later in the morning, as it as the same weekend that the Pre 1930's cars had their rally at Dubbo. The weather was not too great with the chance of rain which stayed away for most of the morning. Nathan took in the old Dodgey Inter in for a run which gathered a bit of interest from some of the car enthusiasts. It is better to be smarter than you appear than to appear smarter than you are. 6
