WEGLENITI 16TH MARCH 2022 GLENITI SCHOOL PĀNUI FROM THE SWIVELY CHAIR STUFF YOU KNOW WELL AND PHASE 3 NEWS NEED TO KEEP DOING WELL THANKS, KA PAI Washing hands! Yes that old chestnut! I just want to emphasise the need to continue with this regime. Some studies show that O ur cover stars this week are from Rooms 11 and people on average touch their faces around 16 times an hour. I 12. They have been working with Polly Rowe on imagine in a school setting it's way higher than that! Touching these amazing "nature wall hangings". Don't something, and then touching our faces is a great way for they look great! Omicron to get a foothold (or nosehold!) into our bodies. Therefore washing our hands regularly is a top method for I know that there is still a long way to go in this ensuring that if we are touching our faces, then at least we're current chapter of COVID, but I just want to say not doing so with lurgy on our hands. a huge thank you to our wider whanau for the great support and help you've given us all here M ask up! Who would've thought two years ago that we'd be at school. spending so much of our time wearing a mask - but here we are! On the whole we're doing a stellar job with our mask wearing. Covid is now in 88.7% of schools throughout The vast majority of us have doctorate like understandings of Canterbury apparently and we're well and truly how to wear a mask and why we wear masks. As a positive aside one of them. It's a stressful and challenging time we all look like doctors as a result! Bonus! for all (how many times have we said that over Just a gentle reminder though to keep your nose in your mask - the last two years?), and so that's why I want to not hanging outside it. It really does make a world of difference take time to say thank you to you all, because for everyone else :) you have all been so good in helping us do our thing. What a great community to be a part of. This week we've been working hard to communicate our own Principal Award Stickers to you all! daily Covid numbers with you. We'll continue to do this around 10:30am each day via email. If you haven't been receiving these Yes there's still a long way to go. Some schools emails then please let the office know. This information is for in Timaru are getting near to the stage where it Gleniti School families only.
