2. Generality
- The competition is organised by NAILARTFRANCE association.
- Nail Art France association reserves the right to modify the general rules at any time. It
belongs to the competitors to regularly verify the general rules published on the website
https://nailartfrance-competition.fr .
- The competition is open to all.
- The general rules and the rules of each trial are searchable and downloadable on
https://www.nailartfrance-competition.fr .
- Each on spot trials can count 24 participants.
- The subscriptions for Lash Art trial are limited to 15 competitors.
- Legal age to participate to the contest : 18 years old minimum.
- Each must have a valid ID : ID card or passport. It will be needed for the registration and
can be requested during any control.
- The competitors must respect all these rules all along the time of the competition.
- Any competitor who doesn’t respect the imposed rules will be disqualified and will not
benefit from any refund.
- If NAILARTFRANCE finds that the rules are not respected the competitor will be
disqualified.
- It is forbidden to smoke, to drink alcohol and to eat in the area reserved for the
competition.
- Connected watches, mobile phones, digital tablets and any type of computers are
forbidden on the competition area for the models and the participants all along the
competition AND till the end of the judgement of the curtain judges.
- Everything that isn’t written about new technologies is forbidden.
- Any competitor caught cheating at any time during the competition will be disqualified
and excluded from all NAILARTFRANCE competitions.
- All competitors, translators and models who have a disrespectful behavior to others, will
IMMEDIATELY be excluded from the contest and from the place of the event.

- There will be no refund for suscriptions.
- The rules can be modified, as well as the schedules of the trials.
3. Translator
- The participants who don’t understand french, english, may be acompanied, at their own
expense, by their own translator. NAILARTFRANCE ASSOCIATION DECLINES ANY
RESPONSIBILITY IF A COMPETITOR DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THE RULES.
- Translators have to read the rules with the competitor before each trial to make sure the
rules are well understood.
- During the competition, the translator have to be present and have to stay with the
competitor but outside the competition area. Only the floor judges can authorize them to
enter the competition area.
- Communicate with the competitors is forbidden, except for the translator, who will
translate the informations given in french or in english.

4. Registration details
- Registrations are possible only on the website of the contest : https://www.nailartfrance-
compétition.fr
- Nailartfrance declines any responsability on the registration to the contest.
- Each competitor can participate in the 4 trials.
- The completed and paid registration can be completed later if the competitor wants to
registrate in additional trials.
- Only one registration per person and per trial.
- Last name and first name used to fill the formular must be the same that are present on
identity card or passport presented.
- To valid the registration, the registration form must be COMPLETELY FILLED and the
payment DONE. Online transactions are secured.
- A numbered invoice will be sent on the mail adress the competitor has furnished.
- The invoice must be printed and INEVITABLY presented with ID on the place of the event
during the registration to the trials.
- No document will be viewed on phone or on any other computer device.
- Competitors are responsible of their registration. In case of mistake from them, they will
have to REDO A COMPLETE REGISTRATION (form and payment).
- Registration fees are personnal and an not be transferred to a third party.
- Online registrations for nails trials close on the 30th of June 2019.
5. Divisions
- Divisions are clearly exposed below and meet precise criteria. The competitors must
register in the as highest as possible division and on honnor.
- In case of mistake, NailartFrance association can not be held responsible from the
competitor for its division choice.
- Each competitor must make sure to be registered in the right division under penality of
disqualification.
- 3 divisions :
o DIVISION 1 Junior : Are considered as Juniors, all the competitors that have less
than 18 activity months.
o DIVISION 2 Master : Are considered as Masters, all the competitors that have more
than 18 activity months but less than 3 years of activity.
o DIVISION 3 Expert : Are considered as Experts, all the competitors that have 3 years
of activity or more and teachers.
- The competitors must specify the division to which they belong when they fill the
registration form.
- They must imperatively provide a certificate via the mail of the association
nailartfrancececilia@gmail.com .
- After registration, the competitor can not change the division.
- If the competitor was mistaken for division, he will have to register again at its own
expense.
- No refund will be executed.

- To be realized, minimum 4 competitors per division must be registered.
- In that case that less than 4 competitors are registered in one division of a trial, THIS
DIVISION will be deleted. Les compétiteurs inscrits participeront dans une division
supérieure ou inférieure. If that happen, competitors will be informed by mail before the
30th of June 2019 and will be refunded.
6. Trials
- 4 on spot trials :
o Classic application (one by one)
o Light Volume (2D/3D)
o Lash Art
o Lash Lift
7. The competitors
- Each competitor must bring :
- table lamps, extension cords, adaptators, all in the compliance with the security
standards.
- For the judgement, competitors must provide a pair of white patches per trial.
- Each competitor must bring its own products.
- Once the start of the trial has begun, competitors and models are no longer allowed to
open their suitcases, bags, etc. The products suitcases must be close during he
competition.
- The competitor can leave the products needed on its table or in an open transparent box
placed above its suitcase.
- All products used during the competition must be clearly labeled with the original labels.
Products without original label are prohibited under penality of immediate
disqualification.
8. Models
- The competitor manages the number of models it needs according to the number of trials
in which it participates.
- Tattoos and permanent make up on the eyes of the model are forbidden.
9. Equipment available on site
- 1 massage table.
- 1 chair per competitor.
- 1 table for 2 competitors to put their materials on.
- 2 electrial outlets per competitor.
- 1 trash bag per competitor.
- These materials belong to the association and must be left on site.

10.Trials progress
a. Before the trial.
- The competitors of the Classic Set one by one trial will register at Disney Newport Bay
Club in the dedicated reception room, called « le bureau d’accueil » (see map and photo
in annex).
- In order to enter the reception room « le bureau d’accueil », all contest participants must
present their invoice to the bags and luggages control officer.
- Registration will be made on 08th of September 2019 from 7h15mn to 8h15mn for the
Classic Set one by one trial.
- For all the other trial, registration will be done on the competition zone 30 minutes
before the start of each trial.
- If a competitor doesn’t register during the registration time, it will be disqualified
immediately.
- All the competitors from all the trials of the competition must be present during their
registration time(s) of each trial they enter (30 minutes before the start of the trial).
- At registration, a candidate number will be assigned to each participant in a random
way to preserve the anonymity.
- Candidate number will be sticked on each model.
- Image rights : NAILARTFRANCE association will enjoy the right to use all the images and
videos of the event, during and after the competition, without any limitation in time and
without financial compensation neither for the competitors nor for the models.
- At registration, a contract of assignment of image rights will be given to all participants. It
must be filled and signed by each one (candidates and models) before the start of the
trial.
- The filled and signed contract must be placed on the table corner so the judges can
collect them easily before the start of the trial. All the photos taken by NAILARTFRANCE
association, or by people hired by the association or not, are the exclusive property of
NAILARTFRANCE association.
- By registerin for the competition, each competitor and model accept to renounce to their
image rights.
- The contract about image rights must be filled and signed by everyone.
- Competitors, their model and translator must be present at the entrance of the
competition zone 30 minutes before te start of the trial for registration.
- If a competitor or its model isn’t present 30 minutes before the start of the trial, the
competitor will be disqualified.
- At the openning of the competition zone by the judge, the competitors and their models
will install themselves at their place.
- Translators will stay in an area reserved for translators.
- They will be allowed to enter the competition zone only if communication between
judges and candidates is needed.
- Once they are installed, it is forbidden for the competitors to start applying lashes before
the trial launch. However they are authorized to prepare the natural lashes (clean,
primer/cleanser) and to apply patches.

- During this time, judges will collect the image rights contracts and will verify the lashes of
the models.
b. During the trial
- The starting point will be given by a lashes judge.
- From that time till the end of the trial, competitors and models are not allowed to leave
the competition zone.
- During the trial, models are not allowed to touch the products or the material on the
table. They also are not allowed to do something tat can help the competitor to finish in
time.
- If a judge notice this offense, the competitor will automatically be disqualified for non-
compliance because of its model.
- At the end signal, the competitor must lay its material and show its hands up. The model
will have to follow the judges instructions.
c. After the trial
- No model is allowed to go out alone from the competition area witout being invited by a
judge.
- Models will be judged on competition zone or in a dedicated room.
- Models must be available after the trial around 3 hours for the jugement.
- Lashes judges will arbitrate anonymously the work done.
- The competitor will have to tidy their equipment quickly and leave the competition area.
- The competitors who participate to the following trial can keep their equipment in place.
They will prepare the table for the next trial after the re-openning of the competition
area.
11. Notation
- All the rating notations are explained in the rules of each trial.
- In case of equality of points, judges will proceed to draw lots.
- Scores and notations will be available at « le bureau d’accueil » after the price-giving
during 30 minutes.
- The competitors will take their own notations.
12. Price-giving
- Prices will be given the 09th of Septmber 2019 from 16h30 to 18h00.
- The presence of all the competitors is strongly desired.
- The prices are shared between the 3 competitors who have won the most points in each
divisions of these following trials :
o Classic application (one by one)
o Light Volume (2D/3D)
- Their are no divisions for Lash Lift and Lash Art trials.
- Only the first, second and third places in each division of each trial will be rewarded.

- Every winners will receive a certificate as well as a medal, a cup and a batch of lashes
professionnal products worth approximately 150€.
13. Copyright
- The « Nail Art France International Competition » is the exclusive property of
NAIILARTFRANCE COMPETITIONS association.
- Logo or copyright reproductions are forbidden.
- Any total or partial reproduction of the rules, the judgment criteria, the pictures or the
logo of NAILARTFRANCE association are forbidden and will be prosecuted.
- All the rules of the contest are protected by copyright.
