Gear up! for Day Camp for rising 1st-7th graders June 7 – August 6 $170 per child per week (family discount available) A Ministry of Faith Baptist Church
Dear Parents, Day camp is just around the corner! This summer will be full of excitement as we hear from God’s Word, experience fun activities, and visit many of God’s wonderful creations. Camp activities include Bible Lessons, organized games, crafts, swimming, field trips, and a lot more! Our trained and dedicated staff wants to ensure that your camper has a safe and exciting summer. Day camp will be combined into one program, consisting of grades 1-7. Rising kindergarteners and younger children will be able to register with our younger day camp. On a daily basis, children in grades 1-3 and grades 4-7 will participate in their own, respective, age-appropriate activities. They will meet together for group functions such as chapel, snack, and field trips. Our staff is very excited for this summer and are ready to meet and lead the campers in great games and awesome activities to keep them entertained and involved. We cannot wait for all the adventures that this summer holds. Come ready to have a great time, meet new friends, and create fun memories! Daniel Fitzgerald, 1st-7th Grade Director daycamp@faithva.school

Discipline Policy We strive to provide a fun and exciting summer program. In order for us to do that, we ask that you and your child read the following disciplinary guidelines and sign below. Camp leaders are responsible for providing a safe environment for all campers and will notify parents of any behavioral issues that may arise. After notification of the incident, the parent is responsible for helping his/her child understand that he/she is responsible for his/her own actions and must make amends to the situation by the next scheduled day. If repeated offenses occur, campers will be put on suspension or dismissed from the summer program. This will vary depending on the number of or the nature of the offenses (weekly fees still apply). If any questions or concerns arise, parents must contact the summer camp worker and/or director (for their child’s age group). Campers also have the responsibility to report any complaints or injuries to the camp leaders. This allows the camp leaders to properly address the situation in the moment. Please note: Physical acts of aggression will not be tolerated and will be taken seriously. My child and I understand and agree to follow the guidelines and policies of Summer Camp. Kings Dominion Agreement Faith Baptist summer day camp takes weekly trips to Kings Dominion during the summer. Because of this, each parent/ guardian must purchase a pass for their child to come. If you do not purchase a Kings Dominion pass for your child, you must find alternate care on those days. You may pack a lunch for your child, send money for lunch, or purchase the Kings Dominion meal pass. When the day camp first arrives at Kings Dominion, they will stop to eat lunch at the picnic area outside of the park. Campers who bring a lunch will eat there. Once the day camp enters the park, the campers who are eating lunch inside the park (meal pass/buying food) will be able to go with a teacher and purchase their lunch. I understand that I have to buy a Kings Dominion season pass in order for my child to go on the Kings Dominion trips. If I decide to not purchase a pass for my child, I understand that I will need to seek out alternate childcare for those days.
