Farm Dinner Series $125 Sundays, July 8 and August 26 Featuring outstanding chefs and unique menus, each event includes a four-course farm-to-table dinner with local beer and wine in a relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking environment. Limit 100 guests. Renewal Gala To-Be-Announced An annual fundraiser honoring the theme of renewal — and a bright future of Taliesin Preservation. The dinner recognizes Wright’s legacy of harmonizing architecture, art, culture, and the land. Riverview Terrace Café Open April-November Dine before or after your tour. Overlooking the Wisconsin River, Wright’s Riverview Terrace Café offers fine casual dining in an architectural setting. LANDSCAPE EVENTS Garden Opening and Closing Saturdays, April 28 and October 27 A special volunteer day dedicated to working on the landscape. Volunteers will help the landscape department weed, mulch, prune, and plant the beautiful flower beds across the Taliesin estate. Volunteers are treated to a tea party, luncheon, and cocktails in Wright’s living room. Friday Evening Garden Tours (Exteriors) $50 May 25 - Spring Blooms June 22 - Day Lilies August 3 - Full Summer Blooms August 31- Lilies This two-hour tour will be spent enjoying the gardens of Taliesin with a refreshing beverage in hand. Learn more about Wright’s connection to nature, then finish your evening with hors d’oeuvres and drinks in the garden courtyard, relaxing and taking inspiration from the curated flower gardens and sweeping views. Group Garden Tours (Exteriors) $25 Garden societies, clubs, and groups will enjoy this two-hour exterior tour of the Taliesin estate and gardens. A guided, leisurely walk through the gardens that will focus on inspiration from nature, horticulture practices, and the history of the landscape, ending with refreshments on Wright’s terrace. 7

Plein air painting is a popular and interpretive approach to learning from nature, which was also at the root of influence for Frank Lloyd Wright. At Taliesin, fused with the iconic architecture are patchworks of organic farmland, restored prairies, intimate waterways, stunning oak trees, orchards, gardens, vineyards, and collections. O R G ART WORKSHOPS Chinese Brush Painting Workshop $295 To-Be-Announced Learn the fundamentals of Chinese painting with watercolor artist Yueh-Mei Cheng. This course is designed for both beginning and experienced painters, and will lead you to explore the spirit of nature by observation, meditation, and imagination. Sculpture Workshop: Organic Architecture for Insects $250 Saturday & Sunday, August 4-5 Learn about the vital role insects play in our natural world, why their population is declining, and the importance of their natural enviroments from instructor Katie Martin-Meurer. With insects in mind, participants will conceptualize and build an abstract enviroment made from reclaimed objects and natural materials. Intermediate Photography Workshop $275 Friday through Sunday, August 10-12 Taliesin will be the backdrop for a weekend of architecture and photography with instructor Andrew Pileage. Dive deeper into understanding changing light and how to shoot architecture with any lens. The workshop will also include an introduction to Adobe Lightroom with peer photo critiques ending each session. Design concepts like space-shaping, scale, proportion, materiality, energy, and sustainability will be explored. At the end of the camp, students present their work to an audience of family and friends. Imagine Mars: Design a Future Colony on Mars $275 Monday-Friday, July 23-27 Grades 4-6 Students will study the planet Mars and will be immersed in the futuristic concept of Broadacre City. Students create an exhibition with their 2D plans and 3D models for an imaginary colony. At the end of the camp, students present their work to an audience of family and friends. 13
