Join Prestige Holidays on-board the MS Agape Rose on our exclusively chartered departure. As well as a Cruise Manager and an attentive crew on- board you will be accompanied by a Prestige Holidays Tour Manager who will be on hand to ensure your holiday is completely carefree. We have included two excursions to enhance your experience. The MS Agape Rose is a sleek motorised cruiser and has been popular with Prestige Holidays guests since it entered service in 2017. There are just 19 en-suite outside cabins located on three decks. Half board is provided on board with meals served buffet style. The dress code is casual, so just relax and enjoy the picturesque scenery as you sail from Omiš to Dubrovnik. En-route you will explore some of the “off the beaten track” ports of call, not visited by the mega cruise ships, and see UNESCO World Heritage sites in Split, Trogir, Hvar and Dubrovnik. There will be ample opportunity to take an evening stroll and enjoy the evening ambiance in cafes and bars when berthed in port overnight. When dinner is not served on-board, the cruise manager can recommend a restaurant or Konoba (tavern) to sample local cuisine.
ITINERARY Saturday 13 July 2019 UK - EMBARKATION OMIŠ (D) Fly from your chosen UK airport to Split airport, Croatia. The transfer from the airport to Omiš, will take approximately 1¼ hours. Embarkation to the Agape Rose begins from 14:00 hours. For any earlier arrivals, luggage can be stored on-board. Guests can then explore the town of Omiš before cabins become available to occupy from 14:00 hours. Dinner will be served on-board.ⱡ Overnight in Omiš Sunday 14 July 2019 OMIS – PUCISCA – SPLIT (B, L) Waking up and enjoying breakfast with the stunning backdrop of the town of Omiš will make guests eager to participate in the included excursion along the River Cetina and through its magnificent canyon. Travelling by small boat you will be up close to the dramatic canyon and experience exceptional natural beauty. Later the Agape Rose sails to Pučišća which is nested in a beautiful bay on the island of Brač. The area has numerous stone quarries that yield some of the whitest and best quality limestone in the world. Suffice to say that pillars of this snow-white stone decorate the façade of the White House in Washington DC and the Bundestag in Berlin. After docking at Pučišća, you can join an *optional visit to a stonemasonry school nearby where you will learn of the Brač limestone, and the centuries-old tradition of stonemasonry including the unconventional tools they used. Lunch will be served on-board. Split is our final port of today. Upon arrival you are free to enjoy the Old Town and familiarize yourself with the monumental Diocletian Palace built over 1700 years ago or you can join an *optional guided walking tour of Split. Because of its historical and architectural importance, the whole Old Town is part of the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. Later you can mix with the locals enjoying a cup of coffee on their beloved seaside promenade. Overnight in Split
Monday 15 July 2019 SPLIT – ŠIBENIK (Excursion to Skradin and Trogir) (B,D) When sailing along the Croatian coast, surpassing the beauty around you may seem like an impossible task. However, there are sites on the mainland which match them, such as the Krka River and its stunning estuary. A coach excursion today takes you to the small town of Skradin, the guardian of the mouth of River Krka, and the gateway to its National Park, with serene lakes and seven waterfalls. You will have free time to visit Krka National Park, entrance is paid locally. The tour continues on to Trogir, a petite island bridged to the mainland and a perfect showcase of stunning architecture founded upon Greek and Roman heritage. Trogir is another UNESCO heritage site and the Cathedral of St. Lawrence houses the Renaissance Chapel of St. John which offers sweeping views from its bell tower. Parts of the medieval city walls remain intact. Upon arrival in Šibenik, you can join an optional walking tour. Stroll with your guide through the narrow and steep alleys; pass by the Gothic-Renaissance Cathedral of St. James which is located in the main town square. The Cathedral is a unique monument of the European sacral architecture, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Šibenik. Tuesday 16 July 2019 ŠIBENIK – VIS (B, L) Pass the stunning waterfront of Šibenik as the Agape Rose navigates the narrow channel of St. Anthony out to the open seas and on to the Island of Vis. During World War 2, Vis was the base for Tito and his partisan movement. However, today you may recognize Vis as the stunning location for the film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. Join an *optional guided tour to hear insights into the tumultuous history of Vis. Overnight in Vis Wednesday 17 July 2019 VIS – HVAR – KORCULA (B, D- Captains Dinner) Set off early morning to Hvar. Hvar, known as the UNESCO Island, has endless fields of lavender and is one of the sunniest of 1200 Croatian Islands. Hvar town has immense beauty that buzzes with vibrant energy in the summer sun. Upon arrival, you have the option to join a local guide for a walk around its ancient streets. After the tour of Hvar you will set sail to Korčula Island. Korčula is the alleged birthplace of the renowned traveller Marco Polo. You can explore independently or join the *optional guided tour of the old town. The Captain will dine with guests on-board this evening. Overnight in Korčula
Thursday 18 July 2019 KORČULA – MLJET – SLANO (B, L) This morning we sail to the Island of Mljet. The incredible national park on the island has two salt lakes connected to the sea via a narrow canal. Nature enthusiasts can walk, cycle here and even kayak to the small islet in the middle of the lake. Alternatively if you join the **optional excursion – the guide will take you to the entrance of the National Park where you will walk and take a short boat trip to visit the charming 12th-century Monastery of St. Mary. Lunch will be served on-board and a refreshing swim can be taken prior to sailing to the mainland and the small settlement of Slano. Close by is the small town of Ston, It is known for its 5km of preserved walls, strong Dalmatian wine, succulent oysters and its centuries old salt works. The optional tour the “Taste of Dalmatia” highlights some of these treasures and you visit a local winery with a tasting experience. Alternatively just relax in Slano. Overnight in Slano Friday 19 July 2019 SLANO – DUBROVNIK (Gruž) (B, L) After breakfast we set sail to Dubrovnik. We will pass the mighty city walls, before dropping anchor in the port of Gruž. Upon arrival for guests who purchased the *optional walking tour a transfer is arranged to the Old Town, Pile Gate where you will join a guided tour*. A local expert will show you around this fascinating world- renowned UNESCO heritage site. Dubrovnik was for centuries a standalone Republic and the only power able to compete with the Venetians and has a fascinating history. After the tour you will have free time to explore Dubrovnik and make you own way back to the ship. You can take the cable-car to the top of the hill overlooking Dubrovnik, for wonderful photo opportunities, walk the walls or just enjoy the enchanting ambience in a café, bar or restaurant of your choice. Overnight in Dubrovnik *Dubrovnik Tour - optional walking tour/package - with a one-way coach transfer from Dubrovnik port (Gruz) to the Old town Saturday 20 July 2019 DUBROVNIK - UK (B) Breakfast will be served on-board. Bid farewell to the Captain, Cruise Manager and the Crew of the Agape Rose. 09:00 Disembarkation Transfer from the ship to Dubrovnik Airport for your flight to the UK.

YOUR SHIP: MS AGAPE ROSE MS Agape Rose was commissioned in June 2017. The sleek motorised boat is 48.5m in length, 8.5m wide and has a cruising speed of 9 knots. She has capacity for just 38 guests (in double occupancy) and cabins are located on three decks, upper, main and lower. On the main deck and the upper deck there is a guest shower room. The upper deck houses a fully air-conditioned salon-restaurant that seats all guests in one sitting, with a fully equipped bar and LCD TV. At the rear of the boat you can find a shaded lounge area with club tables and comfortable sofas. The top “sun deck “provides 155m2 of outdoor space and is equipped with sun loungers and a hot tub. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the salon and in the aft of the boat. CABIN SIZES (approximate) Lower deck cabins: 15 -19 m2 (including bathroom Main& Upper deck cabins: 14 -18 m2 including bathroom Cabin furnishings include a cupboard, a cabinet and a window or a porthole. All cabins are equipped with power plugs and LCD TVs. Bathrooms are fully equipped with a shower, toilet, hairdryer and a vanity with a basin. Important Notes: On-board the ship, you will need to be able to negotiate gangways and stairs and be able to step from ship to ship. On occasions the ships are moored against each other and you will need to step across to the next ship and so on. Some early morning departures from ports may cause disturbance from engine noise. The vessel is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility or wheelchair users. There is no lift on-board.
