O What do you like most about working at the Library?
F I enjoy working alongside so many fun, talented, dedicated
people. Everyone has their special talents at the library, and
I I'm thrilled to be learning from them. I especially like to see

get their first library card. I love that every day I work, the
E smell of books fills my head.

What do you like to read?
I enjoy reading mystery suspense novels, historical fiction and non-fiction books centered
around our amazing earth. I also cannot turn away any type of cookbook. My favorite series
is the Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovich. I love Stephanie's sassy, spunky, hilarious
                    adventures in bounty hunting.

What do you do in your spare time?
Cooking, gardening and woodworking are my therapies. I've been a beekeeper for
7 years. I enjoy spending time in the woods hiking or bow hunting. Spring turkey
season is my favorite time of year, gobble gobble. I love motorcycle adventures
with Jimmy. And, of course, hanging out with our precious grandbaby.

What would people be surprised to know about you?
That I still have a baby tooth in my mouth.

April is the last month to earn and collect cards for the Reading Dragons and Friends
program. The dragons will be taking a break over summer vacation to give the librarians time
to prepare for our epic Summer Reading Program. The Reading Dragons will be back in
    September with new cards.

    1000 Books Before Kindergarten
This program rewards children ages 0 - Kindergarten for reading or being read to. Sign your
child up in the Children's Department for a reading folder and a prize. For every 100 books
