Team Rules - found on the website. Do the right thing.
Attendance - 2nd unexcused absence and you are excused from the
program.

Academics - weekly grade checks. F in any class and you are
ineligible for that week. The player must attend the HUSKY ROOM
(study hall sponsored by HHS) daily for a full week and the grade
must move up beyond an F. 5 week grades.

Offensive/Defensive/Special Teams Philosophy - top to bottom
systems.

Strength and Speed Training - year around.

Calendar - website. 12 months out from each December. This will be
your resource to stay organized.

Player Evaluation - Physical Measurables, GPA, Conduct, Graded
Film, Attendance, Know Your Job, June 4th and 5th Pro Day, standing
out in other sports(track). See attached for physical numbers.

Upcoming Events

Community Service Event - Saturday, April 24 - 10am - Noon. Booster
club will explain.

Lemmings Report Photo Shoot - national prep ratings coordinator and
evaluator, Tom Lemming, will conduct his photo shoot for all P5 offer
players from the State of Arizona and his hand picked underclassmen
from Arizona. April 29th, 3pm, Jerry Loper Field. Grades 2022, 2023,
and 2024. Maroon uniforms.
Spring Football - NO F’s to participate, issued practice jersey and
pants, cleats, soft helmet, mouth piece, month of May
7 on 7 - soft helmet and team uniform is required. The order form is
on the website. Details are on the website calendar. See the website
for a cut off date. Should be shipped to your home.

Spring Jamboree - May 19th at 11am. 6th hour football players.
Inviting D2, D3, NAIA, and JC. Circuit through the district for college
coaches. BBQ after, approximately 12:30pm. Feed the players,
coaches, and college coaches. This is our last day of spring ball.

Camps and Costs

  1. Middle School Positional Camp - running now thru April 22nd.
     Tuesdays and Thursdays, includes a camp shirt.

  2. Middle School Team Camp - April 27th thru May 20th, Tuesdays
     and Thursdays, 5:15pm until 6:45pm. Sign up though
     Community Education. Includes shorts. Cost is $65

  3. Middle School Kicking, Punting, and Long Snapping Camp - May
     3 thru 29, Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:15pm until 6:30pm. Sign
     up though Community Education. Cost is $65

  4. Summer Strength and Speed Training - $150, Monday thru
     Thursday, most weeks, unless there is a holiday. 6am until
     9:30am. Sign up thru Community Education. June 1st until
     school starts/teachers return. Includes Pro Day Testing June 4th
     and 5th. Registered and paid by May 5th to receive your Pro Day
     Nike Dry Fit shirt and shorts. Ordering 200 sets next week (Nike
     Compression Dry Fit $60, included in summer lifting camp fee)

  5. Summer Team Camp at Cal Lutheran University in CA
     This has been cancelled. Looking at other potential options.
     Army Navy Academy or Eastern Arizona University, meeting
     tomorrow for options.
6. Booster Meals - $20. Paid directly to the booster club.

  7. CUSD ECA Fee - $60. Paid after July 1st though the parent portal
     on Infinite Campus.

Physical - must be dated March 1st of 2021 or after. Must be uploaded
on Register My Athlete. Must use the 2021-2022 AIA physical form. A
downloadable copy is on the website.

Summer Vacation - week of June 28th
First Day of Official Practice - August 9th

Purchasing your own helmet. See Donald Sylvestre, head equipment
technician. Sylvestre.Donald@cusd80.com for specifics.

NIKE Elite School Requirements - game day equipment must be NIKE

Uniform - anything under a uniform must match the jersey and or
pants. We wear WHITE socks and BLACK cleats. Towels must be
white, only a Nike logo or no logo, must meet NFHS dimensions.
Knees must be covered in pregame, backplates covered, no
wristbands, no jewelry except medically needed, no tinted visors.

Day before a game - Dress Up (solid BLACK tie, white dress shirt
buttoned up, black pants, belt, dress socks, dress shoes).

Game Day - Jersey to wear that day.

Fall Break - there is none for football. We have practice and games
both weeks. Vacation absences are considered unexcused.

Register My Athlete - MUST be completed by August 9th to
participate. This page can be found on the HHS web site, under athletics, forms.

Winter Sports - encouraged to participate.

Spring Sports
     Track - we want all players to run track, jump or throw unless
you are playing baseball or volleyball. Verifies speed, athleticism,
acclimatization, comes to spring ball in shape, and builds your
competitive nature. We continue to lift year around. We currently have
many athletes playing multiple sports, in all seasons.

Pro Day, June 4th and 5th
For registered Hamilton students - class of 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025. We
want 100% of our players in the recruiting system and tested. Verified
testing by a 3rd party - 1440 Sports Performance, NFL Combine
experience.

Tax Credit - $400 Max, we can use it now for your kids, must identify
HHS FOOTBALL. Example - You owe $100 to AZ for taxes, completed
AZ Tax Credit for $400 towards HHS Football, receive $300 back from
AZ. Can still complete on your 2020 taxes. Tax day is extended to May
15th.
