Obligation I do hereby promise on my honor as a Scout, that I will always and faithfully observe and preserve the traditions of the Order of the Arrow, Wimachtendienk, Wingolauchsik, Witahemui. I will always regard the ties of brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow, as lasting, and will seek to preserve a cheerful spirit even in the midst of irksome tasks and weighty responsibilities, and will endeavor, so far as in my power lies, to be unselfish in service and devotion to the welfare of others.

Announcements • Interested in joining a Chapter committee? – Inductions and Ceremonies Teams – Talk to respective VC or Ryan for more information • Inductions / Election Team Help Will Be Needed! – Due to delay of Unit meetings we will have a high demand for elections in a short window of time! – Please consider volunteering to help at least once a week once the all clear happens!
Announcements Reminder: National Inductions Extension • Anyone Elected now will have 2 years to complete their ordeal • Those elected will not need to submit an extension request • Unit OA Representatives & Unit OA Advisers, please share this news with your units

Chapter Service Day – March 13th Objective: Chapters Day of Service to District Scouting For Food Collection Center Approach: 1. Seven (7) Youth Needed; (plus provisional list of additional five (5) Youth if allowed) 2. Any Youth who servers can get community service hours credit 3. Limited Numbers due to COVID Restrictions - no walk in service allowed 4. Strict Safety COVID Plan in place to be managed by Chapter Chief and Adult Advisers 5. Registration via Google Link by March 7th: https://tinyurl.com/2021NatPikeSFFOA 6. All approved participants will receive confirmation email from chapter on March 8th 7. Location – Ellicott City VFW Pavilion at 4225 VFW Lane 8. Time – 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM must work entire session; note, outside regardless of weather 9. Lunch – Individual bagged lunch will be provided to all 10. Dress – Scout Uniform, OA Sash outside of jacket and warm clothes

Youth will be given first priority, adults who are interested may sign up but no guarantee 3. Registration via Google Link by March 14th: https://tinyurl.com/2021MarchGatheringSignUp 4. All approved participants will receive confirmation email from chapter on March 15th 5. Strict Safety COVID Plan in place to be managed by Chapter Chief and Adult Advisers 6. Location – Broad Creek RHQ Parking Lot for Check In 7. Check in Time – 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM; note, outside regardless of weather 8. Program Time – Starts at 1 PM ends 5 PM: four (4) one hour stations Station 1 = Rifle Range / Station 2 = Archery / Station 3 = Corn Hole at Pool House / Station 4 = Service at Quartermaster 1. Dress – Scout Uniform, OA Sash outside of jacket and warm clothes

Brotherhood Initiative & Award Objective: Increase Chapter Brotherhood Conversions to 30% for both Youth & Adults 2021 Youth Target ~ 30 | 2021 Adult Target ~ 15 Approach: 1. Promote Brotherhood Conversions at every Unit Visit 2. Provide Brotherhood Conversion Support Information (Study Guide & Example Letter) 3. Potentially conduct local One Day Chapter Brotherhood 4. Develop Year Round Elangomat Program to help promote Conversions 5. Implement Chapter Brotherhood Conversion Recognition Award a. Pocket Brotherhood Dangle bearing Chapter logo b. Available to be earned by Youth & Adults c. Requires Awardee to have earned Chapter Participation Award
Youth Fall Fellowship / GLM Initiative & Award Objective: Have a contingent of at least 30 or more youth attend & participate in the Fall Fellowship / GLM for Lodge Officer Elections Approach: 1. Promote attendance at all Gatherings and every Unit Visit 2. Increase weight of Fall Fellowship towards Leadership Award from 1 point to 3 points 3. Implement Youth Fall Fellowship / GLM Participation Recognition Award a. Available to be earned only by Youth b. Requires Awardee having earned Chapter Participation Award c. Up to three Years will be available: Chapter Pocket Patch w/loop d. 1st Year Silver Mylar Border, 2nd Year Red Mylar Border, 3rd Year Gold Mylar Border
March Information Meeting – March 14th Objective: Provide General Information briefing for all Chapter Members Approach: 1. Deliver a brief 20 to 30 minute information briefing due to limited In-Person March Gathering 2. Available to all Chapter members live by GoToMeeting or by posted slide deck on Chapter Website 3. Date & Time – March 14th at 2 PM 4. Attendance credit given for those who were unable to attend In-Person Gathering
